I bought facelifted on August which discount 6k for E spec ,trade off my myvi lagi best 1.3

Nope,no hard feeling at all

Not because brand H against local.but the drive feel comfortable n stable.as long car not giving prob ok adi.

New myvi could b improve alot with vsc.well, aren't new car suppose to b more enhancement?

edit- ps: my wife dun like rear seat myvi too flat..seat not comfort for long journey n butt will slide when sudden hard braking at some occasions
*
mine is e-spec before facelifted. bought it during CNY, its 2017 car with more discount than yours (basically to clear the stock)
i do owning another car which is myvi lagi best 1.5 yr2012 and it is still going good as of now.

went to see the new myvi gen3 yesterday and it looks good with its new safety features and design.
by comparing to old myvi, this myvi gen3 is really new revolution. however still lack of refinement of the interior design.and i personally prefer projector headlamp.

then to compare with jazz GK FL, i still think jazz overall worth the different of the price.

Yep... yesterday i oso go test new myvi for behalf of my younger sis.she wanna get a car for work

Overall new myvi improve but not much especially the seat still very "high" n flat position. acceleration same lack of power.handling slightly improve from last gen.suspension quite hard, maybe tyre pump 250kpa or above.usually i pump 220kpa only for comfort ride

But i still advice my y.sis save more to get jazz or city lowest spec give much better performance n handling.

never test drive a car before. not planning to buy, so just let those ppl that interested to test it.

couldn't agree more on the small seat size and the "design". i am impressed with its specification, overall design and package. it is definitely worth the price tag.

new car for younger sis, if budget allows and not much commitment then its better to get a good car. But i think Myvi 3.0 is a real deal as well.

Jazz/City low spec is a joke , myself I would pay for the myvi 1.5 advanced for the 6 airbags over the 2 airbags that you get on the low end model + other entertainment stuff

Sure the throttle response is good. I think the high drivers position is good for female drivers or people who are driving the car , so you can see the body of the car and also estimate

Personally , if I were given the choice I would have opt'ed for new Myvi (or kept my Fiesta) instead of jazz hybrid. One thing I really like about Jazz Hybrid is fuel saving and being able to cruise in EV !!!

My friend test drive new myvi before. He said the handling just typical perodua.

But the safety features really improve compared to the old one. rclxm9.gif What a game changer cool2.gif

But hey, Jazz was launched in Japan in 2014. Wait for new one. Hoping honda improve their safety feature like honda sensing and 6 airbags across the range ( like civic ) rclxms.gif rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

No, I don’t regret my choice of getting a Jazz over the new Myvi. There’s still quite a few things the Jazz does over the Myvi that makes me feel glad I got it in the first place

1) Good FC, my average after 8500 kms now is 6 l/100km or 16.4 km/l. And I’ve never drove 80/90% highway. This is almost 50:50 split between town and highway

2) it’s seriously very quiet and comfortable. The new Myvi’s engine and tyre roar is very intrusive. The 4AT gearbox whines too at low speed

3) the interior space of the Jazz is much better. The seats fold completely flat and the ultra seats could be raised from the floor. The boot is bigger too

4) the AC is an actual automatic unit rather than only digital in the Myvi

5) The keyless entry is more superior, just grab the doors to unlock

6) the reverse camera is much better quality. The Myvi’s reverse camera is super overexposed

7) The Jazz feels much more stable at speed, and the engine feels much livelier

8) tilt and telescopic steering makes it easier for me to find a comfortable seating position

Going on a long distance highway trip next week, highly curious on what the consumption is gonna be like.

In term of performance, jazz totally overkill myvi especially the hybrid. I love how well the response of dct. Even in term of refinement, myvi edge it a little.

However, myvi is more value for money. Better price and feature.

In term of design, never fan of both but jazz just look uglier and boxy. If mazda has better cs, definitely go for M2.

Overall, jazz is a better utility car. You get what you expect
