so i was thinking to get a usb modem or new phone.......

if the phone model include all of that signal,...
i think u can use w910i although bit expensive...
but my advise if u r heavy user... use modem either usb or datacard...

mine can 13kb/s...
but thats old movie with seeder around 50 only...
not try yet with thousand of seeder but i believe speed should increase...

if u does torrenting, pls share :-

1) speed download
2) no of seeder
3) torrent software

for the 3g signal that some people phone detect, maybe need to use 128kb sim card like celcom or other since now all digi sim card just 64 kb.....
anyway is i use my phone to connect,

Not sure about Digi EDGE but i read somewhere in this subforum that a forummer had his phone K.O (motorola v3x i think) after 'abusing' his phone through 3G connection after like 6 months.

i feel today handphone the BATTERY quality very lose liao, today my n73 online for 2hours 50 mins, still left 4 bars. after reach 4 hours the battery show low warning, what the F?

thinking of switch to SE phones, can last 9 hours, my n73 around 7 hours i think.

i m using voice and data on 1 sim card so modem is not suitable, nid to switch back and from.

ehhh.. hold on... my w960i not support EDGE.. only GPRS and UMTS.. no wonder get that speed...

yellow staft.., told me last year now they just com with time cell... and will come on this final year they told me.. and also this time is not for hsdpa only they will use 3.75 or 4g ... so if yellow mah come out all... die 1

why i cant download using megaupload after download for first time. second day when i want to download it say "exceed download limit".

why everytime i connect still the same ip address? not dynamic ip address.

What if I don't do anything but my BT is turned on, will it still face frequent disconnection?

i always face problem 'no data transfer although the status is connected'.. is that considered disconnected??

I thought disconnection during surfing was rare problem....
now i see few member facing same problem...

For those who don't understand 'disconnection' mean...
its not like we disconnect from Internet and modem software show disconnect...
we still connected but no data receive.. this happen when there r no activities during surfing (more 10 second) and server disconnect us from internet as they assume we r not use the service..  however sometimes when u refresh or click some link it will popup but take a few minutes if not second.. 
when i try use web refresher, this problem become less and acceptable... i need to set web refresher to refresh every 5 second (the lowest time)..
Their CS tell me they encounter same problem for user who use huawei model as modem... Maybe after this i'll try use my pon n see what happen... 

or u also can chat with them in digi pages...
maybe u can find ur love over there...

oo.. I think DIGI like that... u need a few minutes to make it connected...
after connected no problem if u use web refresher...
u also can start web refresher before connecting DIGI..

like no different between modem... but i feel page loaded slower compare using modem...

Thanks for test, I'll be using HSDPA modem, I hope no problem for this.

Anyhow, might delay my plan to use DiGi EDGE because got an offer from someone to use Celcom D98 for free, so I'll be testing it first, see it will be capped or not. White mouse. Anyhow, DiGi EDGE will come in rescue after that, I'll still stick with DiGi EDGE because I'm waiting for DiGi to launch 3G.
