Can i use prepaid digi plan to use edge service?

My Digi Edge having problem beginning 830 pm today....i call digi CS...they said they having some congestion...

sigh...day one launching 3G, they start to making network problem....what a mentality!!!

The calculation is month basis.

what mean is , if you usage of data is over RM149 at nearly end of the month. Let said 30 or 31st. It still fall the capped on that month.
Example, the usage is exceed RM149 at date 28/03. The no extra charge is last until 31/03.

On April , it will charges again. So to fully get worth. Let said 01/04 usage is over RM149, so the rest of the date in April is capped.

So ur edge connection return to normal already?

anyone from pahang....especially bentong and temerloh area, do you know whether this area got digi EDGE coverage or not???

i try to check from digi map, but i think it does not updated frequently....it still just like last year

You might want to check the DiGi Broadband map as that one should be updated. In that map, they show coverage for both EDGE and 3G service.

i skyped with my father in Subang Jaya plus my Aunty in UK. And surprisingly quite smooth!

Edge is okay for all the instant messaging programs. Just that it takes abit of time to load webpages. must refresh a few times.

this is at least better than my stupid celcom broadband.

i check digi new BB package and can't really understand...if my understanding correct...digi nw dun have unlimited package, will charge additional when usage increase cap at rm138. Am i correct.

edge is no limit in term of data usage

DiGi's EDGE service at RM66 monthly is still the true unlimited package which explains why it is slightly more expensive than DiGi's Discover plan for their broadband service.

oh i see....digi unlimited still edge speed....i more interested in unlimited package cause no much headache of usage...

Well, the beauty of DiGi EDGE is still the absence of a Fair Usage Policy making it a true unlimited Internet connection. Although it may be slow but still good for heavy downloaders.

that what im enjoyin now..leechin on http links like there's no tomorrow..just leavin laptop on overnite, all the download will be finish on the mornin without facin disconnection

anyway anyone know current edge data package can add on voice plan? this cant be done in celcom bb btw

Why don't you just subscribe for DiGi's postpaid plan and then take up the RM66 unlimited data plan?

the thing is i would like to keep my number..im not sure whether can switch my current data to voice..just for the sake of number

anyway just remember one thing, any info on digi 3g supplementary sim?

edge got like rm66 for first sim, n 2nd one would be rm33 rite..but its a gud thing its unlimited

because when it comes to 3g..how they gonna calculate those two sim usage??

If there is a supplementary SIM card for their broadband service, in my opinion the usage is combined since it is still considered under one account. It doesn't make sense if both SIM card have their own monthly quota.

No, they dont have a supp SIM for data at the moment for 3G.

currently no problem logging internet, just sometime dc bcos battery out.FYI im using handphone .
