Heya all proud owners of City,

Pardon my noob questions but I'm planning to join the club with a City S purchase and am wondering what's the best rebate/discount possible for it and if there's anything I should be aware of during purchase (i.e. free tint ok/no good? etc).

Right now I'm offered 5k off the OTR price rebate/discount.

Thanks all taiko thumbup.gif

@babylon52281

Thanks for the input though it's more of a weekend car or family car for my parents so not too fussy about handling and all those, as the use may be minimal so all focus on the value, since I use pickup for work

yo all City owners!

I have booked a City Hybrid and offered a free tint (LLUMINAR brand). Anyone heard of this brand before, i Google, but no much info. Is it good to use? i am considering whether to top up get LLUMAR or juz take the free tint.

The spec of the free tint is:
Visible light transmittance - 50%
Ultra Light Reflectance - 99%
Infra Red Heat Rejected - 70%
Thickness - 5m

Honda SC uses another term. I checked back my receipts to verify. Sorry, my bad coz i already forgotten.

Air Cleaner Element = Element Assy, Air/Cleaner = Engine Air Fillter at engine bay (change every 30,000km)

Dust and Pollen Filter = Element Filter = Cabin Air Filter inside glovebox (change every 20,000km)

I'm using third party air filter,K&N washable filter..

I choose to change my cvt fluid at 30k km interval...will incur extra 25% cost ..lol...u can follow 40k interval , no harm on that...

they only charge me Rm17+ for a small bottle 500ml Honda dot 3 brake fluid ....

I am curious. How long does it takes before we need to service our car aircond? It is still cold enough now for me and I am getting into my 20k service.
