The 0w20 is good for fuel economy and city driving more.

0w30 is more for performance and more protection during spirited driving.

I'm using 0w30 as I drive highway 90%+ of the time...

I only use 0-20w even I drive highway everyday at average 120km/h:here:

'bout the wiper nut cap, mine goes missing few days ago..
can i just go to any accessories shop & get them?

or any of you guys know where to buy in penang / mainland?
*
I bought a new one in SC but was stolen again. So I bought a cap used on chairs in hardware store. Although doesn't look nice but at least no one wants to steal it now.

Bought it from Lazada for RM119.
http://www.lazada.com.my/honda-city-2014-n...e-11947536.html

Auto lock when your speed goes beyond 20kmph. Auto unlock when you shift to P.
There is another type which auto locks when you shift to D, that can be found in Lazada also with slightly lower price.
Installation is easy, just plug it into the OBD port and that's it. thumbsup.gif

Hi City owner..

Anyone encounter the hill start assist doesnt work?

When i get my car from shopping mall parking, there is a slope uphill to exit the car park. I found my HSA doesnt work that time, it will slope backward when i release my brake, the gear in D mode.

I then drive along on my way back, i test again and it work as normal. What i can suspect is did the car need to "warm up" to make the HSA work? Or something like ABS it need certain speed to activate the HSA?

Can our CVT gearbox last as long as the Vtevc engine with proper care and genuine CVT treatment? CVT is kinda sensitive transmission and will cost a bomb to replace.

CVT gearbox cost RM14k (exclude labour). im changing the gearbox oil every 20k km instead of 40k km.

if you always revving ur engine > 3000rpm, recomemded to use 0w-30 more thick higher fuel comsumption
< 3000 rpm use 0w-20 thin oil fuel saving.

I means is there any proper care of CVT beside changing CVT oil frequently, such as put neutral when at traffic light or dont accelerate during cold start...or any proper driving style to prolong CVT gearbox lifespan ...

put neutral when at traffic light ? this is not recommended...LOL

avoid shift gear lever when accelerate . change CVT fluid is basic preventive care ...

What about 5-30? The semi synthetic engine oil.. as I know, thicker oil provide better protection for the engine but 0-30 seems a bit expensive.. I am going to change my engine oil next month, 5 mth old car with mileage less than 3k, thinking to chg 5-30 or 0-20..
