Hi City owner..

Anyone encounter the hill start assist doesnt work?

When i get my car from shopping mall parking, there is a slope uphill to exit the car park. I found my HSA doesnt work that time, it will slope backward when i release my brake, the gear in D mode.

I then drive along on my way back, i test again and it work as normal. What i can suspect is did the car need to "warm up" to make the HSA work? Or something like ABS it need certain speed to activate the HSA?

The best one i can achieve only 14km/l, only when i drive with alot 'patient'..

Usually I getting 12 to 13km/l, mix highway and city drive.. something start engine doing nothing in car for 30min...

to all city sifus,
how to shift the gear without turn on the engine?
I read from somewhere else,
for start driving, its better to shift the gear from P to N first, then only start engine.
for parking, its better to shift the gear to N first, off engine then only shift to P.
*
I always have this practise, after i park my car, i will do the below step.

Shift to N > Pull handbrake > Release foot brake(make sure handbrake hold the car position) > Shift to P > off engine..

thanks, how about your practice for start driving?

sorry for asking this silly question as this is first time driving auto car
*
When u have this practise stopping ur car, u dont have to worry abt starting ur car, just normal start ur car can already.

Cause u arr using handbarle to hold ur car instead of ur gear when doing so, when u start ur vehicle, still handbrake is holding ur car.

it's like that....
CVT will give you the feeling of underpower, but city is actually quite fast,
you just don't feel the acceleration because the pickup is very linear due to CVT

The speed will increase steadily, but because RPM stays constant, most people don't feel the torque.
*
Yes, now used to CVT cant go back to AT anymore. Doesnt feel the torque but power always on demand, whenever slighlty press pedal abit easily overtake car infront.

But but, engine is the last thing I want to risk voiding the warranty. Engine is by no means cheap.
You only save few ringgit going for the non-ori engine filter anyway...so I rather keep the warranty.

But for cabin filter yes, low risk, unless it affects your health, haha.
*
1 noob question.. Our honda by defualt didnt come with cabin filter? Why need to purchase from taobao?

Dear City Owner,

Which Petrol do you pump usually and find it is good in term of Performance and FC?

I tried BHP, Caltex, Petron.. Personal experience:

BHP - not good in FC and performance..
Caltex - My preferred petrol.. Can feel more smooth when accelerate, FC okok jer..
Petron - FC slightly better..

E and V spec owner..

If i remember correctly, our spec is equip emergency braking signal.

How does we trigger it? And will we aware if it is triggered?

I came to the situation few time where emergency brake, but dont feel like it was trigger. Maybe from inside we couldnt know?

How many KM can travel for one full tank of petrol?
*
The best I can achieve is 16km/l.. mostly highway drive, once in a while stuck in Jam..

Usually I got 14.5km/l..

No issue, they have a maximum mileage, just dont more than 2k from what you going to services it. I have 2 times is more than 1k
*
My current mileage 9.5k, suppose to service at 10k.. Called up service center to make schedule, appointment make in next 2 week, I told the guy I will exceed 10k mileage in next 2 week and ask if this alright..

He said no problem.. As long dont excedd 15k mileage then is ok.. That very suspicious.. If within that period my car got issue, dont know will void warranty or not..

Since I have no proof that he said no problem if within 15k milaege..

Ya, their appointment is always 2 weeks forward. Anyway to be safe next time give urself a bigger margin if u are going to reach ur mileage first. Worse come to worse safest is still 2k margin cause when it is 5k they allow 1k now since it is doubled should be 2k.
*
I guess the SC do not want me go othee SC, that why he said 15k is alright.. anyway, i will try not to exceed 12k before service..

1 question.. if i service at 12k mileage, so my next service will be 20k or 22k?

Dear City owner.. Any phone holder recommend for our car which will not spoil the beauty of the internal design?

I currently looking at this, but not sure is this suitable for city or not.

Dear Sifu..

For whichever item stated in Honda Malaysia website, is it compulsory to let them change?

Can I just reject them and I change outside myself, will it void warranty?

https://www.honda.com.my/service_maintenanc...ntenance/?id=51

If those not stated in the website, if the SA ask me to change, can I just reject them without void the warranty?

Many friends or relatives in Japan, or ppls study mechanical/automotive undergraduate course, knew Toyota lean automotive manufacturing is great built and improved through many methods/processes such as 8D report, FMEA, Root cause analysis, poka yoke,  6sigma green belt, SPC, ..etc..etc Check these out, as it will be important decision making.

1) The worldwide sales leader is the key important measurement, other than VSC/TC, new CVT Double OHC engine, (Honda is still using Single OHC), good radius turning, front + rear BRAKING DISC, ..etc https://www.quora.com/Internal-Combustion-E...double-camshaft
http://www.whyhighend.com/sohc-vs-dohc.html

2) Another measurement is many old Toyota cars still running well on the road. Why?? Engine robustness, quality reliability??  Only this country, many new Honda cars on the road, unlike other countries.. The preference of every individual and taste are differents. For telescopic steering, adjust your car seat accdlg.

My Honda Accord sm4 been using for 27 years, still running well.. lol...

And on the road, for more than 20years car, I can see Honda car more tham Toyota.. what does it mean?? You are funny man..

Oh yeah.. there is alot proton otr which older than 20years...
