Sent my car for my 1K service, and I asked them about this. I too, always hear the 'TUNG' sound when my speedometer reaches 40KM/h. Apparently, that's the sound of the VSA relay kicking in, and according to them, it's perfectly normal.

Sounds plausible?

VSA turn on?

Is there any lights on your dashboard that says VSA is turned on?

If that's the case, then try switch off VSA and see if the "tung" sound still around

Not only these 2 buttons, there's also one button missing on the lower part on the steering which houses that 2 bottom-left buttons areas.

The FL got only 2 buttons where PreFL got 3 buttons on the lower left.

That one IINM is Siri Eyes Free. New HUD doesn't support that feature, hence the omission of the button.

I'm curious on what the 2 buttons do though.

It's better for u to book coz some SC only accept limited numbers for servicing/ inspection. Last time for me 1k service around 1-2 hours as they only inspect/ checking.

Let them know of any issues also during 1k service as they will try to fix for u during that time.

Checked the manual, can't find it. Finally I manually measure it (stock wiper), and the size is 26"+14".
*
Just to follow up, received the official size from Honda. The size is 350mm (passenger) & 650mm (driver).

Immediately after freeing your vehicle, be sure to switch VSA on again. We do not recommend driving your vehicle with the VSA system switched off.

You may hear a motor sound coming from the engine compartment while system checks are being performed immediately after starting the engine or while driving. This is normal

i also heard that 'tung' sound from jazz n civic.

so in inches roundup shud be 26in and 14in right?

since how long for u to replace ur wiper?

i've only changed one time for wiper since 2014.

I noticed if we apply dunno what coating to ur windscreen for rain/ water repellent (forgot the product name) our wipers tends to wipes smoother/ cleaner and can prolong the wipers's lifespan.

Just my experience tongue.gif

mine pre-fl make noise everywhere, just get use to it lo...stereo louder will fix the problem  biggrin.gif
*
The noise is coming from the steering wheel area so it can't be eliminated by louder stereo. Maybe I'm too sensitive with all the noises. Will get used to it eventually 😭

QUOTE(Zoopdiidoo @ May 18 2017, 10:34 AM)
The sound coming from the steering wheel area is from where the ignition would be if the car isn't a push start car.
There is a circular plastic there, in which when you press on to it, the sound will disappear for a while.
Just tell that to your SC to fix. I just did the fix few weeks back. No issues since then.
*
Thank you! How long would it takes to fix that? Need to leave the car at the SC? And we don't need to pay them to fix that right?

QUOTE(Casperwinde @ May 18 2017, 10:40 AM)
Me having the same noise when on uneven roads. I'm going to SC at 10k and resolve these.
*
I'll get SC to fix it next week during my first service.
