he advice me to take all cash in hand first , service those T&C apply , so take max rebate !

Means you converted to cash instead of 2 years service. Curious yo know, the 2 years service really equivalent to RM 1,084? Or should I convert them to cash now also?

Actually the auto gearbox nowadays are much smarter, they don't up shift when going up hill unlike previously... the only time you will be needing the paddle shift is probably for the "shift umph factor" haha! and when you going down hill and require engine braking.
*
Curious to know what do you mean by "shift umph factor". Not even my first 1000km i already travelled 140KPH to Melaka the other day. lol lol!

I tried calling Sumber Auto Edaran PJ SC to book for my service, but nobody has been answering my calls. Anybody got their SC contacts?

And do I have to book weeks ahead to schedule for a service? my car hitting 950km today but haven't go for service yet. bangwall.gif

Happened to me also, but just have to keep trying. Sometimes they're not there at the reception area when calls come in, since it is under renovation. 03-79602626.

Depending on your luck, they'll most probably slot you in 2 weeks later, or they will say they're fully booked. You can tell them that it's for your first service. They will try to slot you in the best they can since first service is relatively quick. When I called last time, they did mention that for first service, can go up to 2000km, but I sent mine when it was at 1120KM.

Alternatively, you can try Tenaga Setia Resources (Sdn Bhd):
Lot 56, No. 10, Jalan 51/217, Seksyen 51, 46050 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
03-77848311

All the best mate!

I managed to get through their General line 03-79602828 and selected 2 for service. The lady said up to June 14th. but then when I said mine only 1000km, then she told me 8am in the morning can squeeze in. I tried calling Mofaz SC opposite the Curve, said earliest June 4th.

TGCS ? I bought it at RMB133 included postage within china. Add another RM12.50 for air postage back to my door step, total damage ~RM100.

Postage seems reasonably priced for air postage from China! Looks like it is coming in a big box some more! LOL Taobao really conquering the world. rclxms.gif I am now just curious to know whether it is really that difference putting a daun pisang. hmm.gif

Anyone knows what is the insurance process claim? 2 months nia but kena knock behind. Made police report Liao.

I asked Honda and they told me to make police report so can claim the other party insurance. Are those runners outside the police station legit. This runner guy outside the police station was like saying to claim my own insurance first then they will claim the other party insurance....... ohmy.gif Sounds damn fishyy!

No need for those dodgy runners, if you are going back to Honda for repairs. They will advise you step by step. The tedious part is need to wait for the official investigation report from Polis Trafik which takes 1-2weeks to produce and then collect personally. As long as the person that knocked you already reported and the police already identified that the person is at fault then Honda will initiate the claims from your insurance and when u obtain the investigation report then your insurance company will claims with the person insurance. Your NCD and insurance will remain unchanged. If possible ask the person to send you their insurance policy to speedup the process.

I just read about OD-KFK (Own Damage - Knock for Knock) and sounds like a faster process - to claim under my insurance first then after that claim against the other party insurance after that.

https://www.tokiomarine.com/content/dam/my/...28-OD%20KFK.pdf

But I am like wondering whether this process is legit or not though coz what if there is such thing the other party insurance dont want to pay for the damage. Is there such a thing that the damage is too small to be claimed for insurance even though the other party is at fault? Honda was quoting me about $2k for the damage but if go outside maybe a lot much lesser.

The other party keeps saying my damages not serious maybe few hundred bucks only and want to go to his mechanic to fix. He said Honda quotation $2k too exp. so then conclude to make police report to claim from insurance. Even Honda told me to go claim from insurance because car is new. :/ now I worry he didn't go make report and buat bodoh only. His car only had minor scratches but my bumper crack and back panel dented.
