is the screen good ?

This is my first FHD display laptop.Text looks a lot sharper than my old HD display laptop.I can't comment about color because I'm not a graphic artist. The display is good for indoor use, but may appear very dim outdoor. But this is a non-issue for me.

Hi guys,

I'm looking at this model.

Illegear Z5 (rm6,099) and Illegear S5 Lite (rm6,299).

Both quite similar, but S5 has 3GB gtx 1060 in compared to Z5 which has 6gb.

Which 1 should i choose? or any other model?

Model : any model with good customer services (preferable)
Budget : <6.5k
Usage : Gaming, mapping and drawing
Extra : Reliable (can last up to 3 years or more)

Hi, thanks for the suggestion.

I have read differences between 3gb and 6gb. However, it quite confusing in choosing the right one. I guess going for 6gb is more promising than 3gb gtx1060?

1. Preferred brand : any
2. Budget : 2.5k
3. Usage : writing assignments, casual use and dota(only game i play)
4. Screen Size : FHD 14 or less, need to be lightweight and

I am looking at the asus zenbook ux310, the i3 variant, but if there is any other option available at the pricepoint that I'm overlooking pls do suggest. I'm also looking at upgradability, so if I can add an SSD and some more RAM in the future that would be great.

Hi, need recommendation

1. Preferred brand : any
2. Budget : 3-4k (which is lower tongue.gif )
3. Usage : autocad, light games ie. Dota, CSGO (if can go mid to high setting), MMO
4. Screen Size : 13-15'

Looking something lightweight, slim or ultabook alike... maybe something like ROG GL552 or V Nitro, but love the looks of Zenbook UX360/330 ..
already owned bulky MSI GE62 with defected keyboard keys bangwall.gif ...

thanks in advanced

1. Preferred brand : No preferred brand

2. Budget : RM4.5k - RM5k. Maximum budget RM6k if it is really worth it.

3. Usage : Some gaming, mostly media consumption and video editing/rendering. Prioritize processor and RAM first, then GPU. Battery life is also important to me, minimum 3-4 hours. Maximum weight in my opinion 3KG.

4. Screen Size: 15 inch preferred. 13 inch minimum.

Some suggestion and feedback is much appreciated.

Thx bro, I've been looking at the Inspiron 7567. Also really appreciate your suggestion for the MSI GP62MVR, it's lightweight and specs are good for the price. Will look around further but those 2 laptops I will keep in mind.
Maybe there will be some better selection once the other CES 2017 laptops get on the market.

Meanwhile any suggestions for the best places to purchase laptops at a good price? I know of Techhypermart but not sure if Lazada or Shoppu is good.
