QUOTE(walabies @ Aug 6 2007, 09:21 PM) Haha, scottiebabie is worked up when someone saying about the ray's. So let this matter end after this post? hey i get worked up not when people dont like something. i get pumped up when people sniff glue and think that their opinion is the only opinion. as im free to post my views however irelevant, so must i accept others rights to post their views however idiotic. thats called FAIRPLAY. do look it up as its in the dictionary if anyone cares that is.all i can say is if u cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen. if anyone doesnt like getting beaten on, then one should ponder seriously before one opens up a can of worms. as for me, brader PCdude's got it rite as he knows Scottie's standard answer - "BRING IT ON...!". but u i love u Wala! Vive le Mylarone! Bravo! Magnifique! Go Team Mylarone. ps:incase anyone wonders, i DO own a Mylar X3 and YES its good value for the money! |

Peace...
No need to argue liao la. Its like arguing wanna buy Acer or Sony notebook. You get what you pay for, and although some might not agreed with it, you just have to enjoy it cos its your choice. LOL.. like my Go-Vibe. I think it works well with Mylar2 but not with KSC75. Sounds like shit when pair with KSC75 and only gods know why. When I plugin into my EMU0404 modded, also sounds thin. So, Im thinking of letting my KSC75. Also tried with HP890, speechless. Worst than unamp.. LOL rite? But its true... |

QUOTE(dh007014 @ Aug 7 2007, 12:29 PM) k mon kapitan. although my experiences with my GV6 contrasts yours completely, i can see how its different strokes for different folks. for the price u paid though, u shouldnt have much of an issue getting rid of it for what u paid. cant beat that mayhaps u mite wanna try one of Rays many offerings or wait (and pray u dont grow grey hairs before one actually manifests) for one of our local supposed world beating amps! kapitan here...
Actually I kinda like it when I used with M2. Sounds very nice. Thats why I tried KSC75 and HP890. Its strange that both doesnt sounds good with it. KSC75 is known for its bass, but coupled with GV6, I can said bass is very weak. Although the highs and mids is being tamed down a lot. No more harsh hisses when turned on loud. On the other hand, the GV6 totally unable to drive my HP890 to listenable volume. I do suspect though that its broken cos I havent used it for a long time. |

Yours is recabled. So it's not so same with the original. The original runs VERY well with the PPAv2, while the recabled one was good with GV6 QUOTE(dh007014 @ Aug 7 2007, 12:29 PM) Im not tossing the koss.. Really or not? Selling GV6? QUOTE(yuheng @ Aug 3 2007, 05:31 PM) yuheng,The problem still persists. I even got a bit of static electricty from the Mylar 3 today. For comparison, I also tried my KSC75 on my office notebook but it was ok. How do I pass it back to you? |

dunno how to write review...since i am not an audiophile
but i can tell my feeling, hmm... i enjoyed Mylar3 every morning in LRT on the way to work. noise isolation is great for me, compared to my previous Senn PX200. music is stronger than environmental noise for the first time. ha but there exist hissing sound in the silent part of music track, i am not sure is this caused by my IPAQ or due to the sensitivity of Mylar3. from my experience of listening music using Mylar3, i would say it gives me joy as much as my previous senn PX200, the sound quality maybe better, i notice very clear and bright human voice from Mylar3. Listening to Cheer's song is great with Mylar3, it expresses her unique voice in a more warmful way that touches my hearing neurons from the bottom up... and i would say with this price, Mylar3 is a bargain given such performance. |
