Property prices across the United Arab Emirates have declined by about 27% since 2014, and the U.A.E.’s annual growth rate is now below 2%.
In retail, about 19% of store space was vacant in the third quarter, up from 12% two years earlier, according to JLL https://www.bloomberg.com/asia Property price doesn't need economic recession to drop, overhang is sufficient. Until overhang is reduced substantially, price remain suppressed. Property is illiquid, price takes years to bottom. |
