My Maybank fd with cert (did at counter, 1million) matured on Saturday, and today i went to a branch to uplift it because i have other plans for the money.

Just found out i couldn't transfer money at all because the system deemed i have reached my daily transfer limit. Can't transfer money to 3rd party, and even my own accounts (example my house loan account) also will show i hit daily transfer limit.

I can't do anything now. Is this stupid setting only for Maybank or other banks also implement the same setting? How can uplift my maybank fd money to my maybank saving account used up all my daily transfer limit? doesn't make sense.

OTC also have daily limit?

Ya, this is the stupid thing surprised me. After i uplifted and transferred the fd money into my saving account, i can't do anything with my saving account now. Any amount i try to transfer , even to my own loan accounts, will tell me daily transfer limit reached. This setting really doesn't make sense.

i found from maybank website https://www.maybank2u.com.my/maybank2u/mala...s/transfer.page,
it says INTERBANK GIRO (IBG) under intrabank Daily transaction limit (RM per day) BRANCH COUNTER RM1,000,000, maybe they combine intrabank and interbank together already. Maybe next time you can try rentas which it says is unlimited.

Btw, this Maybank really has lots of issues. These 3 days i am keep encountering a bug not allowed me to request for the security verification when using the website version (the button not responding), happening during night and afternoon. Even now i am facing this issue. Need to use the Maybank APP to do the transferring.

Should be a bug. From yesterday until now i can't make payment transfer. No matter what amount i tried, i kept receiving daily limit exceeded error.

I have informed my RM to look into my account to see what is going on.

I once had issues logging in the website on PC, the CS told me to clear cache, change browser, change pc bla2, still not solved In the end registered another login at branch, problem solved ...

I confirmed what is the issue now, it is the Maybank desktop website having issue.

Use Maybank desktop website to transfer money = 100% telling me hitting daily limit

Use Maybank APP to transfer money = no issue.

Ambank also had similar issue, sometimes happening for both app and website. Happened twice to me, CS forward to "appropriate team" and no news after that....
