Thanks for the assistance, but I'm in East Malaysia, so can't go to Damansara Heights branch as mentioned.

I've just got a call from OCBC RM and he said the highest they can offer now is 4.38%, the 4.5% is for 360 account which needs to fulfill few criteria like additional top up into a/c, swipe the credit card, and perform online bill payment.

The RM from OCBC sounds professional and have invited me to go to their branch to understand more on their services. I can expect that they will provide a better CS than MBSB and Ambank (from my personal experience). But their location in my area has high traffic and really difficult to find a parking. If the rate is same as 4.38%, I'm too lazy to manage all the hassle and move my fund from another bank to them.

Yes. Ambank 4.38% is upon request or it's offer to everyone?

If Ambank is revising to 4.3%, which bank is giving best rate for next week?

Got 1 maturing next week, but not reach 100k, so Alliance bank only can get 4.3%. HLB eFD promo already expired, right?

How long it takes to open FD and Savings a/c at Bank Islam?

4.65% 2 years FD need savings a/c right? Did u open for Basic Savings a/c?

I called Bank Islam to check on the FD promo, the officer can't speak English and asked me to use my "Pasar Bahasa Melayu" to communicate with her.

Feeling a bit doubtful whether do I still want to place FD with them, even though their rate is currently the highest.
