I just contacted AffinBank customer service, and I was told that there are no promos at the moment. The prevailing interest rate for 6m, RM10000 is only 1.85%.

Is the promotion specific for certain branches only?

PB eFD via FPX Campaign [ PBB | T&Cs ]

My Hong Leong FD matured yesterday, and today i move the funds to Affin in MyTown for the 5m @ 2.60% pa. I already got a FD account with Affin, so I got everything done in 10mins. And will go back there to collect the cert another day.

I am lazy to do multiple FPX

if 250k need to do 25 times with that troublesome affinsecure app. and must click and read tnc and pdpa 25+25 times in neq windows.

Well because many said economy would become even worse by year end.. that's why I ask if would drop till 1% or not 😩

Regarding HLB's eFD promo the specifics of which are stated here, paragraph 9 says

"The maximum deposit amount per transaction via FPX transfer is Ringgit Malaysia Two Hundred Thousand
(RM200,000), subject to such prescribed maximum amount/limit of transfer in the Entitled Customers’ individual
internet banking maintained with the relevant bank."

while paragraph 5 says that the cap for placements are RM2 million per customer.

So if one has say 500k, does this mean we have to split the deposits into say like 2x200k + 1x100k or multiple times according to the outgoing bank's FPX limit?

hello , any Affin holder here? i logged in into affin online this morning, it auto logout .... cant perform any transaction lol, anyone can check for me are we facing same issue ?

affin fd placement thru mobile website didnt need affin secure code? tried yesterday night and it went thru without involving secure code.

2.25% p.a is too low to be called campaign, any better deals near 3%?
