i applied online on Monday, just submitted nric photos. never asked to do video. thought was smooth.

Tuesday, i called general CS to check status. they said processing will be at the selected branch. Called branch, they said they had KYC issue, all online application cannot be completed, need us to visit branch to complete registration (ie physical presence as part of KYC) 

today Wednesday, visited branch. completed registration. instant transfer rm20 as initial transfer. gotten debit card. havent do online banking registration yet (using debit card number & pin registed for the dc, no need special handling at atm)

i chose Wise Saver Savings

it's just you or a select few, I see no difference to when I first engage BI 5+ years back when they had a 4.5%-4.7%@12mths and that famous 7 step-up thingy.
it's a little faster when you have a record with them. Their requirement is as dumb and strict as ever, this is the seksyen 18 branch.
On another note, I just place 3mths@4% at Bank mualamat (subang jaya branch) all cannot, I insist to walk out only they let go the SA but effective date is on banker's cheque cleared date (they print it 21st Nov) giving reasons not cleared how to give interest blah blah, cert collect when the cheque actually clear after 21st onwards.
I wont engage BM again unless extremely high rates. should have just renew with affin and safe a trip+time.

MBSB online placement, when you need to withdraw you still need to go to branch right? I didn't find a way to uplift even after maturity as it continue rolls.

I have been very annoyed with CIMB, recently they make their promo FD so hidden and so hard to do. (Must click external link and cannot be done inside the online portal itself). WHAT?!!!

Also not to say their promo is so fantastic compared to other banks right now!

And their online portal and atm is always down very often.

Truly disappointed with CIM Bank!

This not bad. Buy sgd for FD 3 month 4.1%.

Mine is credited usually around 1130AM ish on the date of maturity. No issues so far. It's just that I did an eFD yesterday but it has locked in the funds and start date is only 20/11. So I am like wth?

Looks like US dollar reaching its peak , and BNM may not have any reason to raise rate anymore to support growth in 2023.

Let me share my experience today. Matured FD from Affin. Need to register for securethingy for transaction above 10k, so duitnow to OCBC multiple times. Found out OCBC PFX limit is only 10k, only made 1st PBB placement. So duitnow the rest to BR, made the 2nd PBB placement. Next time will duitnow to BR directly.

Do u think interest rates will increase again after change of our government?

Am in dilemma in choosing between Ambank 3.80% for 8 mths tenure vs. HLB 3.95% for 12 mths tenure. Both online fd. No time for otr.
