What is the different between M2U apps and the new "MAE" app?

i saw somewhere that alliance is doing 4.20% but why no one talk about it? is it false info? my fd is due soon..

Anyone placed PBB efd FPX from MBB have FPX limit issue?

I have updated my MBB FPX daily limit to RM50K before I placed PBB efd.
My first attempt RM30K is fine.
Second attempt RM20K is giving me error message saying exceeded RM50K limit.

I suggest not to try anymore. I made a placement and it did not show up. I called up the maybank CS and they said there was no record. They will need to make a report now.

fpx issues usually auto-resolved within 7 days.

FPX itself is just a fund routing processor between banks. if either party has issue, there is a refund process that kicks in. however, downside is that it need few days to resolve, which is not favorable for FD placements 

FPX is currently in progress of sunsetting by end of 2023 (originally end-2022 but resisted by few banks (aka they are pissed at paynet lololol)). DuitNow OBW (online banking/wallet) will supersede FPX (functionality is the same as FPX anyway, but routing thru DuitNow ecosystem)

next to sunset is JOMpay. same fate because DuitNow will replace it.

I also did the MBB 7mth @ 4% Islamic FD today with fund FPX transferred from CIMB.
Weird tho the money ws deducted from CIMB but have yet to show in MBB FD even after an hour. Is this normal?
I noticed once i completed the transaction in CIMB Clicks successfully and when backed in M2U screen, it showed an error message saying something the transaction is not successful. What could have gone wrong?

I am looking for more banks now. Their normal rates usually suck, but if talk to their managers, usually can get better rate, i have 4.2%+- rate recently, most of the time i just want to be simple instead of moving the money around diff banks.

No issue with their normal rate FD system until around 2-3 months ago (issue came out since the time they showed the actual rate before we place the FD), i wonder what are them doing, how can a bank allows such issues to be remained there for so many months. Tried a few times yesterday, and today when wanted to try again, gave me the same error message, this really triggered me.
