Talking about Solar batteries... would wonder how long do Casio's pre-installed battery last ? The longest I had is still running after 5 years... Anyone had it way longer and still going strong ? hmm.gif

Anyone here change the solar battery before ? Same quality ?

Just would like to know about it... mine all still working fine... thumbup.gif

Been snapped up and it is considered rare item now... Even if you can find it, it will be priced higher than normal...

IMO G-Shock without Digital display should be called something else.

To me... G-Shock is always a digital watch... Even ana-digi is still acceptable but if fully analogue, I won't opt for G-Shock already...

but dont forget what the initial requirements were for a g-shock...ie. the triple 10...
10yr battery life.
10bar water resistance.
10m drop shock resistance.
nothing about digital or analog requirements.

and the solar analogs can meet those triple 10 requirements.
not many other g-shocks except the solar ones meet those requirements...i think nowadays the longest battery life model is also 5-7yrs only...most in the market also 2-3yrs only.
