Nop the law should be in place to penalised those shops that overcharge customers. It's not as if the product hasn't been launched in Malaysia.

But at the end of the day, its a case of willing buyer (even by paying extra $), willing seller. The seller will defend themselves by saying they didn't force anyone to overpay for the item.

True to that and since PS4 PRO is not priced at MRP (Mandatory Retail Price)

They are priced at SRP( suggested retail price) or RRP ( recommended retail price) means basically they seller can just set higher price as long as there is willing buyer to buy.

Correct me if i am wrong it is not illegal in Malaysia for them to increase the price as long as they told the buyer they are selling at higher price and the buyer agree to the price of the seller which is higher.

At the end of the days consumer lose and business untung kaya

consumer already knew the price of ps4 pro rm1799 , it just some of them cant wait for their turn to hands on the ps4 pro even though already pre-odered from retailers etc. , they are willing to pay at higher price .. in the end , it's their money anyway .. without consumer encourage them to do so , they ( sellers ) might reduce the price or selling it at suggested price , they also not willing to keep their stocks for longer period of time due to supply will be available in huge amount time to time rclxms.gif .. i bet by end of march 2017 the stocks will be enough and available through out malaysia thumbsup.gif

A lot of people probably would have already sold their old PS4 in anticipation of the PS4 Pro launch in November, November till now nothing.

Yeah, I'm one of those people. So I sold my PS4 since October and I've missed out on all the big games at the end of the year. By the time will have stock will have missed about half a years worth of games.

noted & fully understand the situation notworthy.gif

for me the best way is , keep your current ps4 , until the day your ps4 pro already on hands .. then its a good time to sell your previous ps4 so that you wont miss that much ( for the games ) ... it just my opinion , no offense to those who already purchased it at high price , it's their money and enjoy the ps4 pro thumbsup.gif

Latest update for you guys;

There's currently 180 on the waiting list at KLCC Sony. I spoke to one of the product managers there (an old acquaintance) and he told me that they're expecting bigger restocks before or after CNY.

It will be a long while before msia gets equal shipment in PS4 slims (and all its SKUs) and PS4 pros however.

That would... optimally be the best way. But because I am still a student, at the time I sold off my PS4 to fund for the PS4 Pro. Honestly, it's my fault for underestimating the demand for the Pro because there were so many reports of hardware issues and lack of noticeable upgrades to older games without a 4K TV that I had hoped that others would give up on it.

No, no. Don't be mistaken, what they indicate is that there could be bigger shipment of stocks. It does not mean there will be surplus of stocks.

Keep the fingers crossed. smile.gif
