oh yeah that is allez elite...oh shit...i am not supposed to post their price here..the bike is light....i went to the shop with allez elite in mind ...ended up with a secteur elite instead...as for the weight..i am not so sure...try googling around...i have tried but to no avail..

never consider Giant Defy 1? apparently bikeradar says:-

Hoho..now i got to know there's scott..price quite similiar to merida road race 903...so between the scott s40 and the latter which one is recommended? Specs wise and also brand wise..appreciate u guys input 

are they on the exact same price range?

brand wise -> scott,

value for money -> race lite 903 due to the 10 speed tiagra group.

yeah... but if the s40 is at 2500 and the 903 which i doubt is at 2500 as well.. then the 903 is a bargain but being the scott having the upper hand in the brand game..

i trust both are good bikes... it is the decision of the person spending the money

other than components aside.. the scott doesn't have a tapered head tube...the race lite is a 1.25" to 1.5" lower bearing... also spotting a full carbon fork and steerer instead of the carbon fork alloy steerer on the scott...

the race lite does have better wheels (most prolly lighter) and some nicer rubber on ...

I get myself poisoned today..hehe..went to see some colnago bikes..what's your opinion on colnago move (2012 model) It has shimano 105 and priced almost double from my initial aim which is the merida road race 903. Since i can't road test both bikes, apart from the brand of the bikes and also tiagra vs 105, are there any significant differences in term of comfort, performance, durability, etc?

Hi riders,

I have been loitering and shopping at the bicycle shops around Klang Valley for awhile. Getting to know different brands and products each carries, and expand my cycling networking too.

Just a summary on the bike shops I have been to...

1. KSH Cycles (TTDI)
First, don't get confuse with KSH SS2 near Taman Megah, as they are different bosses at all. A small but compact shops, more for XC and DH bikes. There are few frames (on different brands) options for roadies too. Most importantly, very friendly and customer-centered service.

2. KSH (SS2)
Very neat, and clean show room, you won't be missed on the shop as the BIG Merida signboard on top. There are plenty of roadie jerseys to choose, and easily get poisoned to spend more...

3. Joo Ngan's Son (I'm Cyclist, Damansara Uptown)
Very friendly boss, and plenty of bike accessories. Appropriate pricing, and helpful staffs. They are nice to lodgers, even you are just window shopping.

4. BikePro (Taman Megah)
A place where you can meet pro riders occasionally, like Anuar M, Haffis and L2a team too. Plenty of shoes choices like Sidi, DMT; and other accessories too. Fully air-conditioned show room with Scott bikes mainly. This is a place where I can shop "quietly", without disturbance.

5. Due Roda Extreme (Shah Alam)
It carries bike for Bianchi, shared with superbikes next door. Good thing is, you can try on different Super-duper Bikes (engine idle, of cause) if you get bored on self-powered "dua roda". One more thing, you will be served by a MTB champion... He can be your riding companion (or coach) too!

These are just my experience, my apology if anything sounded bias. Happy shopping, and "kayuh" always...

furthermore.. dunno who selling.. saw people riding some bianchi's.. but not sure where they bought...

Anybody knows of any other tires with color strips like the Maxxis Detonators has?

The detonators seems to be prone to punctures, or at least for me.
