I have never used topre on a long term basis so I can't really compare.Typing on it didn't feel as solid as cherry tho but it was much lighter, I recall.

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Feb 28 2017, 03:58 PM) Tried to disconnect the keyboard and test other usb port (if using usb)? If not try disconnect the keyboard and blow air (using canned air/vacuum exhaust) at the particular unresponsive keys. Can also check their switch for stray hair or food/dead skin that might be inside them. |

For example, I need to press "L" 3 - 4 times then only the letter appears. No dust. Tried all USB ports too. Tried on other PCs. It's KB problem. |

QUOTE(ALeUNe @ Mar 3 2017, 11:03 PM) Already tried. Looks like what happened to mine too, at first the keys didnt register when pressed but after a while the keys are "chattering", the chip inside my filco busted after googling around. You can try last resort, spray the board with water and let it dry completely I need to press many times then only the letter appears. To be safe I recommend MKB from coolermaster, ducky and filco other guys can chime in on other reputed brands. Avoid mkb from cherry itself as it does not have good build quality. as for switches, if you mostly gaming then red switch is best. Blue switch if you do mostly typing. Brown is for people who do not like the noise from blue switch but still wants that tactile feeling. |

QUOTE(JakzT @ Mar 5 2017, 05:01 PM) http://imgur.com/a/4KNfZYes ducky is a reputable brand for MKB. That range of ducky cost >300 for non-backlit. I was choosing between ducky zero and IKBC c104. You can have hands on exp with these 2 model in ultimate zone In the end, I chose triggerZ for backlit since they were on sale. |

Hi, can anybody gimme some advice on Mechanical Keyboard choice? My budget are not exceed to RM500.
No need RGB, and must have dedicated multimedia keys(Not those Fn+*). My daily routine would be Gaming+Watch Movies/Songs+Typing(Working). Macro keys are unnecessary for me. Simply my ideal are: Wired Mechanical Keyboard + Dedicated Multimedia Key + Durable My current choice are: Corsair K70 Lux Brown Do enlighten me and appreciate yours input. Thanks! |
