If there are other companies involved, there is a rare chance to screw up though in my opinion.

local site pinging ok but pingin to www.hinet.net is 1.6k...wtf -.- no wonder downloading and stuff so damn slow lar...ma de...

like some say..they might as well kill off some advertisement and use d money to improve services....services good..automatically ppl will subscribe.. no need for them to be lured and enticed by stupid useless advertisements whch do not really give what they advertise

ur contract is renewed, meaning u kenot terminate ur acc for 2 more yrs to come. they ade secure u for 2 yrs by offering u 3 months of discount.

hmm... if by force i dont see it anywhere but its part of current promo to pay rm77 for first 3months i think. then after that onwards pay rm88. i think they try promote the 2Mbps and coming soon 4Mbps. currently for 2Mbps home package from their site, its RM188

at one point forgot which shopping malls, got one streamyx promoter even ask to stopped my current 1Mbps package n apply new with them the 1Mbps with goodies.. goodness.. that desperate to increase percentage one

Streamyx is really "funny".

Since this morning, my connection was on and off and on and off! Suddenly at 5:00pm until now, my connection was like what I normally get. Even the US/DS, SNR Margin and Line Attenuation was normal. Weird!!!

Not want to take or dont take, i already 1mb user, i just worry those 512kb user now, that 1 upgrade is force u 1, no way to run else u dont use anymore.

It's a crime to force someone to upgrade.

something is wrong with my line

early morning around 5am ++ to 11am++ my latency to local site is normal less then 50ms

but after 12pm afternoon,it rise up to 500 ms till all the way midnight 4am ++,happen since few days ago

wtf is tment doing,complaine de but still haven fix the problem...

exactly same case as mine.But now smooth since it is early morning.

update: As of 12pm, my line goes to the UNSUABLE speed again. Local site 700ms now Yahoo, 1.5k

Ya. Same in here in Ampang. From 5-6am onwards to 11am, it's fast. After 12 pm, it slows down a lot. This situation will continue to midnite and become the worst speed ever all night long. After that, back to normal again at nearly morning. Happened everyday since wednesday.

It seems that someone is playing with the speed around. Not sure what it is. But one thing for sure, that is, it's streamyx problem which caused by TM again.

Does anyone know what is exactly the situiation currently? An upgrade or error?

OMG. I wake up and use at 9am just now damn fast. Lowyat site only 40ms. Sharp 12pm(YES! SHARP), ping to lowyat 700ms. WTF.. Now line is freaking damn slow!!! Since last wednesday, my line always like that.12pm onwards till midnight i cant freaking use cos so slow. Then early morning so damn fast... wth

oh gosh...today download speed like turtle walking...
