I would be more than happy if I can get:

1) 70% of advertised speeds
2) 30-40% of BT speeds
3) 90% stability (i.e. no dc, good (not excellent) SNR & Attenuation)
4) <100ms ping time

but as most of us know, we can never get all.

If I can get all the above, I will never "divorce" Streamyx but if there is a better "beauty" around, then bye-bye Streamyx.

Well, I have been using streamyx for about 4 years now..

BT throttle? No worries..we now got mytorrent..

In 4 years using streamyx..adsl connections drop occasionally..but never so serious..just call Customer Care they would quick to restore my connection..they are kind, sometimes efficent.

All in all, I am happy user of streamyx..be grateful to streamyx guys..I am sure streamyx always try to fulfill your demands..give streamyx some chance and time

Really lucky of you to have good customer service at your area. I can't say much for the most of us though.

Start in here again??? Tired of replying to the other thread which you already closed?

Why don't you reopen http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f=149&t=411742 and then we all restart the arguement again.

TM thinks all CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS WRONG and customers are all a stupid bunch of kids.

It seems my speedtest to US and Australian sites are better compared to other locations.

Using 60.52.x.x IP on 1Mb package.

I am really happy and glad that TMNET did not get the WIMAX license... rclxms.gif

Maybe... but I think they will still be using TMNET backbone. Correct me if I'm wrong, please... Hopefully I'm wrong.

TMNET may be getting the Flash-OFDM license (in future???) instead because it will be using their old 450Mhz ATUR band.

Most of the time routing for me shows me I am in Sabah but actually in Kuching, Sarawak.

I think only once that the routing showed me being correctly in Kuching.

mine always change reroute from sabah, sarawak, KL, johor, penang, perak and etc etc vmad.gif

Haha!!! biggrin.gif Reminds me of the time when I was in school. We were called 'nomads' because we change class almost every period due to insufficient classes.

Maybe that is what TM is doing! vmad.gif Incidently, when my location showed Kuching, it was the best speed that I got. I think I'll bug TM to always reroute me from Kuching. hmm.gif

ever wondered why tm has no forums or any complain box or place to complain n give feedback in their webbie?
answer is...if they do..it will be shiet full of this kinda rantings...all of em which are true...but they chose to remain stupid and dumb and act stupid bout the whole thing...

theyre favorite tagline will alwez be...its da best out here sir...u cant get any better then dis..

bullshiet i say...cuz if its da best why is singaporeans getting better connections? are they born smarter? what they sg ppl get 2 brains msian onlie 1? i say its bullshiet cuz TM is GLC and is monopolising the whole damn market...

if there is anybody who is willing to open a new isp provider...with better services and as long as its better then tm lar..( 1mbps? np..as long as its really 1mbps)..more expensive alilbit but nvm.. ill support you..ill subscirbe to u immedietely...thousands will follow suit trust me...cuz TM SUX!!!

If I'm not mistaken, they do have a forum but not directly under them. I was browsing their website last year but after that forgot about it. Try to do a search for TMNet forums.

My DSL light keeps blinking since last night.

Just now I could get an IP address BUT the downstream/upstream rate was both 0 (ZERO)!!! Is that possible?

Now posting using Celcom 3G and even that is slower than usual.

What the h**l are they doing now?
