My best bet is that Genesect might got 2nd chance like Darkrai or Arceus which from code distribute from gamestore. Volcanion is a movie event which I don't think will have another 2nd chance since MY did distribute a Volcanion code if buy 2 tickets from TGV. Btw, did you any chance have extra Mew (untouch). I got extra Genesect still unclaim from Pokemon Center which I can trade it with.

no, destiny knot can pass down 5IV instead of 3IV normally, and destiny knot only need 1 is enough. it randomly choose 5 IV stat from both pokemon to pass to baby.

so even with both pokemon is 6 perfect IV only can pass down 5 IV and leave 1 random.

any gender can hold it, not a 1-time use item. you can also let your pokemon hold Everstone to pass down nature.

You just need a Pokemon Trainers Club account, which completely separate from NNID. Just make sure that you register the correct language because they're independent from each other (english for US/ EU carts, japanese for jp carts).

The bad part about JP account is they only allow kanji for your real name. It's like there's no foreigners in japan at all or something.

It's better to register from http://www.pokemon-gl.com/ than pokemon.com itself. Much easier to navigate.
