are you at the right location? Route 3 after u cross the bridge?
I was able to encounter it numerous time after 15-20 minutes of moving around the area

though can't say the same for Salamence, went through 2 hours of SOS battle but still no appearance

lol. hell no. Bagon are rare species in Sun&Moon. According to one YouTuber, they said is 1% encounter rate. :S

I'm sure I'm at the right position after I check at some YouTube video.

time to breed some bagon

Some people said Bagon has 10% encounter rate at the bottom (forget the name location) on Route 3 (if you went to the grass where Bagon location is, you'll see that bottom place)
Even I caught at that place too

I caught my bagon on the same place.

I read somewhere that you can catch 2 of same exclusive Ultra Beast per save file. Is it true?

Man.. I swapped my sand castle at the end with yeti crab.. I felt a little bit of regret benching one of my early catch so late in the game.. but the sand castle move pool is so limited.. The ending is

Use Bagon can already. Then use opposite of gender of Ditto.

u don't need lapras to catch Bagon. Its the grass area on route 3 at the south of the bridge

as for breeding with ditto, any gender is fine. U will still get an egg

I mean, there are 2 patch of grass that can encounter Bagon. 1st patch of grass at Route 3 as mention by you, and 2nd patch of grass is below there (which need go through Seaward Cave and reach Kala Bay)

manage to get 4IV ditto after chaining, now try to find destiny know, really hard T.T
