Even if the electrical test is done during VP, wonder it is just a simple test whether there is current or no current, or the test extends to how the wiring is done between the point and the ELCB? As you know, some lousy wiring share or connect high load points to a single MCB. I assume the wiring is standard across unit type and they are installed based on the specification. Any input?

QUOTE(Diver Lim @ Dec 13 2016, 11:59 AM) I am not sure under starta. Bro, it has nothing to do with strata or non-strata.I remember a friend who always test and check on progress, not after VP. He once told me nothing much can check and test if wait VP. Anyone doing the same here? He told me if you hire a QC company or something, they check on progress not after VP. If that's true, I afraid our mindset of "wait VP la, still WIP..." are wrong? Afaik (caveat: I'm not a contractor), for all the scoring (be it Conquas or Qlassic) it was done and recorded in stages on sampling basis by the competent persons prior to the delivery of vacant possession. It has nothing to do with the defect checking during VP time - of course if the Conquas /Classic score is high then rightfully the defects should be relatively less. I stand to be corrected since I'm not in this field. |

I stand to be corrected since I'm not in this field. I am talking about house owners to check the quality of his own house. On progress not to check and test only after VP as nothing much you can check from surface. Mostly just finishing of the products. Someone used to share to me if you hire a proper QC or somesort of detect checking professional, they will check your property on progress not to check only after VP. QUOTE(tenderfield @ Dec 13 2016, 01:57 PM) Nope... Terrace house from developer we can hire too, not sure strata.Theu have right to step in check and inspect specific unit under buyer authority. This is what I understand. Could be wrong. Wonder if anyone hire inspection professional like this before. Nowadays peoples buy to goreng one. I don't think many would willing on extra cost. Not happy just repair surface and cheap cheap sell. This post has been edited by Diver Lim: Dec 13 2016, 02:17 PM |
