Yes that too....and also show you water did flow out of manhole outside your side and rear garden.

They pour water into aircond water piping....

Conquas standard.....

Ew i seriously dun think they will even test all power points and light points lah........i stand corrected.
*
EW not sure, after VP later can tell.

SP Setia, Sime Darby and IJM, I can 100% assure that they do the current flow test to all power and light points of their units together with owner during VP-check, including your door bell point also... biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Pouring water into aircond water piping never see before, eager to check if EM shall do it.. brows.gif

Does Conquas govern or set the standards of the defect checking during the delivery of vacant possession to buyer? hmm.gif

Noted all the requirements set but what I doubt here is whether Conquas governs how the developer do the testing, what to be done etc during the vp with buyers. The records of the testing / results should have been done during construction / before vp?

I am not sure under starta.

I remember a friend who always test and check on progress, not after VP. He once told me nothing much can check and test if wait VP. Anyone doing the same here?

He told me if you hire a QC company or something, they check on progress not after VP.

If that's true, I afraid our mindset of "wait VP la, still WIP..." are wrong?

How to test the aircond point? Those typical current flow test?  hmm.gif

Many developers (at least SP Setia, Sime Darby and IJM) also do testing on the power/light points and checking the piping flow system during the VP unit check, no?  hmm.gif

My VP unit @BM by DNP Land no such thing.
Just give keys. Then check yourself. Defects just report to office. They don't even folllw u to your unit to view and inspect. Just decribe and tell them where and what then show picture only.

I am not a contractor, not sure how the flow. Just extract this from the BCA website, it seems like CONQUAS assessment is based on sampling:

To Initiate CONQUAS Process

1.) For BCA to proceed with the CONQUAS assessment, the applicant (Developer/Builder) can submit the CONQUAS application via CONQUAS e-Application to BCA, Quality & Certification Department. Click here for Fees/Terms and Conditions.

2.) Upon payment of CONQUAS assessment fees, the applicant can request for a briefing to be conducted at the project site office via our CQM On Line Booking system.

3.) The purpose of this briefing is to provide essential information on the operational expectation and assessment details such as total samples to be collected for the project, logistic requirements for the assessment and booking of assessment schedule etc for the Builder. The Builder is encouraged to gather their project team and subcontractors to attend this briefing.

During Assessment

1.) Details of assessment are provided after each assessment. The Builder can use the information provided to identify areas for improvement.

Release of Interim Score

1.) Interim scores for structural, architectural and M & E works can be finalised / released subject to the following:

a) Structural works

(i) Completion of structural works and CONQUAS samples for Structural and Structural Steel (if applicable)
(ii) Submission of original copy of the following forms signed by the QP/PE:

Form A, Concrete Cube and Steel Reinforcement Quality (100 Kb, pdf file)
Form B, Summary Of Welding Test Records (100 Kb, pdf file)

b) Architectural and M&E works

(i) Completion of CONQUAS assessment for Architectural works, Roof, External walls, External works and M&E samples

(ii) Single consolidated submission with a covering letter (with name and contact number) of original copies of the following forms signed by QP/PE:

Form C, Wavier for Internal Wet Area Waterproofing In - Process Inspection (100 Kb, pdf file)
Form D, Material and Functional Test Declaration (100 Kb, pdf file)
Form E, M&E Works Performance Assessment (For Cat A and B projects) (100 Kb, pdf file)

Completion of Assessment

1.) After verification of the CONQUAS records and forms, BCA will release the Final CONQUAS score and issue CONQUAS certificate. For printing of certificate, please submit :-

Form F, Draft Certificate (100 Kb, pdf file)

In addition to the above, for CONQUAS 8th edition projects, please submit the following to qualify for the Bonus points:-

Form G, Certified QM/CONQUAS Personnel (100 Kb, pdf file)
Form H, Use of Precast Elements (100 Kb, pdf file)
Form I, Use of Prefabricated Bathroom Units (100 Kb, pdf file)

Finalised CONQUAS Score
Form J, Acceptance of finalised CONQUAS Score (100 Kb, pdf file)
