You confident with your material?

Yes. Its denser the those floors mats used for kids playground. Disadvantages is that its 20g heavier per piece than those floor mat material.

This acts as an extra layer of protection on your rim. Remember you have air in your tire that will provide the cushion for your rim. This foam stays in the rim doing nothing until you rim out, then this thing act as a cushion to absorb the energy. Off course nothing is 100% meaning you cannot go and slam your rim as hard and not break it. Even the hardest material when break when enough force is applied. It not only protect your rim but also prevent pinch flat on your expensive MTB tires. Pinch tires from heavy impact results in cuts on your tires which might not seal properly and resulting in costly replacement. Also prevent blurping.

My friend is using in his SC Nomad and he is very happy with it as he can really feel the difference sound and feel in hard landing where when the rim hit hard, and is very confidence inspiring.

I only have a few exra pieces left and after this and I don't think I will be ordering any more. I order 1m wide x 3m long roll and selling of the extra as I don't want to keep it.

You can make it yourself with those colorful floor mat but you end up having many connections. Mine is 1 piece cut out from a 3m long roll. And the process to cut out to shape to reduce weight is very time consuming. Took me 3 hrs to cut 1 piece.

update, send to shop he go sew together the cut. after overnight tyre lose pressure . maybe need to buy new.

Anyway, chinese carbon frame good idea? bike shop dont recommend but google most are good reviews.

I made this video on how to fix a cut at the bead of tubeless MTB tires. Got the cut from a pinch tires from hard landing. Its very diificult to fix cut at the bead area as there is no place to apply the rubber patch.

I think for a 1.6k RM, you can get better (2017 model of different bikes) but TBH, your specs aren't detailed, hence just an asuption thrown for an opinion..

I'm going to part with my Nobby Nic (I don't particularly like this tyre) and was wondering the better rubber than Nobby Nic..

Magic Mary is hard to find and mostly priced differently in between shops. Quoted for RM230 in one of the LBS. Rodalink quoted RM190 (iinm) but stocks are not in.

Apart from MM, are Ardent or Minion (DHF/DHR) a better choice? They are priced near to RM100 instead of Schwalbe - near/exceed RM200 mark. Or should I die die search for MM (front & rear) or MM front, Hans Dampf at rear?

NN is OK, just that I found them slippery when wet. Have to attack the roots straight. Not like my Nevagal on my 26er, they are just great in any trail condition, especially when wet.

If tak jumpa MM below 200, might take a gamble for minions, heard a lot of good first hand review jugak. Just that MM looks gooding in a way.. haha

Fitted both rear and front MM 2.35.. (got it with a deal) Looks rugged but i think its kinda heavy dah la aku ni heavy weight..

Later after try out at the trail then maybe i can give a feedback to it.. or i just might sell off the rear and opt for others..

1. Men Expert (1st-3rd winners from previous race and Sponsored riders)
2. Men Open (18yo-39yo)
3. Men Master (40yo and above)
4. Women Open (18yo-above)

Emulating the EWS standard, with Sportident timing system and race guidelines, we will try to give our best for this race and hoping you guys will enjoy it!!
