Guys, is it possible to quickly reject a ping instead of waiting for the countdown to finish? like swipe left or something?

reached there suddenly got 5 ping accept then immediately cancelled. Mapren trying to game the system or something....Use fake names (Sam Ben, Don Chee etc...), give wrong pickup place, ask to wait, I cancel, a few minutes later got another ping to go back to same area (but with different pickup point). Reported to CS ( CS advise to turn off app in these kind of places due to high number of similar incidents). Grab really needs to implement rider rating ASAP and then we can avoid all these cibai type riders

You don't even break to pee from 11am onwards? I can only tahan four hours at a stretch before having to go no 1....

At the cost of overall cancellation rates going up... Remember past post here have said grab track rider cancellation rates too. Cannot total more then 30%(driver+rider).

Think only foreigners who just arrive and never heard of Grab use Uber.... That's what the two tourists told me last night.

Mine was $13 more then expected...you need to log every minute you turn on and turn off the app and prorate accordingly....or wait for Grab to implement the daily incentive amount update in app (coming soon?),.,,,

guys...what you do when you need a ratings boost? Mine steadily dropping, last week 4.85 now 4.80, after an additional ~10 ratings. DO you solicit/beg 5* from customers? I always keep my car clean, drive smooth, greet customers etc...

If you not yet AMbassador or Grab Pro (they will send you SMS confirming you qualify as either), better not play KL during rush hour. Because as you can see you will get RM3-5 fare but you wont qualify for incentive top up yet. Please read up on how incentive top up system work for Grab Pro or Grab Ambassador. I remember my first day, only took in RM29 for three jobs (and then my credit wallet fell below RM15 and had to stop )

Since you wont be ambassador/pro this week (probably next week also, it took two weeks for them to accept me), just maintain your AR above 30% and ignore KL jobs during rush hour. Use the time to familiarize with the app (especially back to back jobs, grabshare, etc) and build up your driver rating (> 4.7).

They will prorate every MINUTE that your available for job button is turned off. Hence if your ride take half an hour you will only get half there incentive amount using your method.

A better methods is to leave the available button on during the
ride, then a few minutes before reaching the destination (or they lasy one two km) turn off the button. Of course still no guarantee you won't get b2b but reduce chance by a lot.

Actually if chasing incentive b2b is good, just need to learn to multitask

Let's be realistic you said you don't drive on weekend and morning only one or two trips, can you average TEN trips per working day??
Think about it is only extra fifty ringgit per week iF ALL your trips were less then five ringgit....

Not sure that's a good idea, cannot confirm but it seems that Grab wait until you have a certain number of rides before they approve, at least it seems like that way for mine case.

in some countries like SIngapore, the taxis have a sign on top of their car that shows 'Available' or 'On Call' etc...they MUST stop if hailed when 'Available' sign is on...I just think of Grab system as encouraging you to always have the 'Available' sign on. Of course compared to the cb local gangster taxi drivers, no way they can get used to been this busy
