Do you use correct calculation as shown in yesterday page?

been driving for 3 weeks now (joined grab at the end of the beginning of their demise) and can see that the service is fast becoming like the teksi industry of malaysia .....

Teksi charges you rm3 even before engine starts to rev but grab gives you 10km ride for rm3 only ----- think the teksi drivers will accept such a fare ??? and tolerate rude and smelly passengers for rm3 ??? 

i want to see how grab CS handle their association by then

Im on latest v5.20. If pickup gs then off button disappeared. Meaning system forcing drivers to accept 2nd rider. Only choice is ignore 2nd ping but i think office wud know n AR  also affected. Normal gc trips off button still there.

1) i kena many times from grab - ping rm3 or rm4 fare but for me to pick up the distance is sometimes 6.5 km to reach pick up

Internal finance :Wat la this grab company one year lost 12k to 1 driver. Must find a way to cut lose.

Per year :
Bleed 12k for 1 driver
Bleed 120k for 10 drivers
Bleed 1200k for 100 drivers
Bleed 12m for 1000 smartass drivers

Somebody got to accept the short trips what... if get incentive also wrong, might as well implement 100% AR.

I asked them about the cancellation stuff, they said PAX is to high.  Aiyor!!!  The b2b sucks, how can I stop rider from cancelling? So i have to write a special email to explain my problem with b2b cancellation by riders.  So I have a solution.

Right after pick up rider, turn off available button to avoid bad b2b matching.  (Incentive still jalan all the way till drop off)
2 minutes before drop off, turn on the button again.

This in the first place, not our problem.  It's the system louzy b2b matching.

I think the app update do not improve the b2b, since the b2b matching is done on the server. In order to have perfect b2b, they need to cover factors like actual route(not direct line radius) & traffic condition, which I think is very hard to be implemented.

I think the easier solution is just enforce cancellation fee when the rider has exceeded number of daily/weekly cancellation, or at least show a prompt to warn b2b rider that booking another will take longer time than waiting for the currently assigned driver.

last week was hell for me the gps problem.. was at subang airport then got ping pickup at giant kelana jaya.....

then another then another all far away from my location.....

in the end i just close my phone. go mamak eat soft boiled egg, toast and milo....

Honestly, I driven 300 trips now in Klang Valley. All unique riders leh... Every morning I start in same place..

Smaller cities like Penang, Malacca etc etc I can understand. But Klang valley difficult to hit same rider. A guy told me he has been using grab for last 6 months everyday (Mon to Fri) Sheraton to Klcc..and he has never got the same driver.

So that's why if you kena the same rider in same week, gc will think you are gaming...

Grab pickup location stated ppum hospital.
Pickup note stated taxi stand at UM. I tried calling rider twice before reaching because I wasn't familiar which taxi stand, but each time her phone was engaged. Waze brought me to Menara Selatan in UM. Upon reaching, I messaged her, she called me and scolded me for stopping at Menara Selatan. I tried to go one more round to find the taxi stand but was unsuccessful,  so I messaged her saying I couldn't find it and cancelled the booking.

I immediately got a ping for another rider/job to go to Grab Taxi Stand UM hospital(this time Waze can find it), which was the actual location where the first rider was. When I reached there, the first rider saw me and scolded me, accusing me of cancelling and accepting passenger without telling her first.
