QUOTE(penanghomes @ Nov 22 2016, 09:04 PM) Huawei e398 or e397, not sure CODE HUAWEI E397Bu-502 (UML397): * 4G LTE FDD Band 12 (700 MHz), Band 5 (850 MHz) * 3G CDMA 800/1900 Mhz & EVDO BC1 & BC15 (1900MHz & AWS)
I searched around about 397/398 and only found above one that have band 5. Will TM condemn uses of modem? Still, no idea if have coverage at my kampung place. The startup cost to even TRY this, isn't exact cheap either, a new modem required... duh. This post has been edited by M1X: Nov 22 2016, 09:59 PM

QUOTE(boonhan @ Nov 22 2016, 10:53 PM) higher = higher speed, but lower signal for indoor. Higher frequency carries as much data a lower does. But since higher frequency had smaller coverage so it's generally faster. This post has been edited by zher4883: Nov 22 2016, 11:26 PM

QUOTE(zher4883 @ Nov 22 2016, 09:59 PM) 2600MHz TDD-LTE Band (band 38) the mothership at sunway pyramid is also using 2600mhz band 38 that's why the speed there is abnormally higher than those outside connected to 850mhz band 5.
