May I know if I am able to use Webe plan on my PC computer via my Mifi (specific model Huawei 5577s-321, i believe with 850mhz band support) through the USB connection (not wifi)?

how's the coverage on both 4g and 3g areas?
*
It's still a form of tethering

hmm, so officially, modem with 850mhz 4g support, if connected to pc, is unsupported? if it is unsupported, why is it on the first page of this thread? lol
*
Because you are using mifi. Different story for usb modem.

how is it different if i am connecting the mifi via the usb to the computer with mifi option (wifi hotspot) disabled?
*
Because the device itself is already a mifi. Once you place the sim card into a mifi, webe considered it as tethering whether you are actually doing it or not.

i see. i did a bit of searching at the v2 thread, and someone suggested that this mifi (which is also bundled with tmgo) works if connected via usb connection

*
You have to understand that TMGo doesn't restrict tethering but Webe does.

Do you ever refer or read anything at webe official website first before asking here. Stated clearly original price is RM199.Now RM79 before GST.

Do you know that reading is much more tedious than climbing cliff for some people.

Anyone using IMPORTED Redmi Note 3 Pro? Model no. 2015112.

I wonder if it got LTE with webe or not?
Because some websites show that it has band 5, but other websites show no band 5.
*
You should be able to connect to band 5 LTE as this model does support band 5. I guess you are confused with the Redmi Note 3 Mediatek Processor variant as it doesn't support band 5 LTE.

hi, im interested in subscribing to webe. currently using umobile in bintulu, sarawak, connection very unstable and will drop line anytime especially at night.

can anyone share experience on 3g network of webe? good?
*
Webe riding on Celcom 3G and they had 4G coverage over there. This is a good indicator of what kind of quality you should be expecting.

Is this counted? It says band 20 though.  rclxub.gif
CODE
Vodafone K5006Z: Band 3/7/20 (800/1800/2600MHz)

*
Webe does't have enough spectrum to operate on 2600MHz as Band 7 but enough for Band 38.

higher = higher speed, but lower signal for indoor.
*
Higher frequency carries as much data a lower does. But since higher frequency had smaller coverage so it's generally faster.

Anyone has tested the speed on 3G? Screenshot maybe? The sales person told me webe using ownself tower for LTE but ride on celcom tower for 3G. Not really sure what does that mean but i got a feeling the 4g only limited for certain area only.
*
Refer to their 4G LTE coverage here: https://www.webe.com.my/shop/coverage/?pagetype=4g
In fact, their coverage is much better than U Mobile
As for 3G it varies from place to place so only you yourself could tell.

After you receive the sim card, call the CS and only after that this process will be triggered. Worry not

Are you sure webe restrict Google-based apps to 2Mbps?
*
It's noticeable if you play close attention to it. You could get better download speed when you are updating apps via play store which proves this claim.
