Ok, this might be far fetched, but look at the sir name and location.
Both from Miri and the phone number is also from Miri (016-8xxxxxx)
Both have the same registered address: 99, Hilltop Garden, 98000, Miri, Sarawak (someone manage to dig this info out)
Both bank account is opened at the same branch

Now, could Ting Seng Hui be the son of Ting Jack Woon?

all victim don't dare to report even thought evidence are so obviously given to them freely.

All victims are now trying to get back refund individually and if That conman is smart...he will just make partial payment to any of his victim trying to delay time thus lesser police report being reported against him.

So as time goes by...habuk pun talak.

I will say all victims deserve to be conned and cheated,
This is your own hard earn money but when it come to do simple police reporting...become headless chicken running around naked....say no time...so many excuse.

For once, i will like to see all victims MAKE TIME and do the police report.

I've done police reports before. For other civil matters. It only depends on your determination and Perseverance. Sorry to say that. Yea, like some have said, it may be futile, but at least you're doing something to 'back up' your claim. Not just leaving it there to rot

if police cross check in their system show only 1 or 2 police report NOT 7 or 8 or 9 police report.

Logically police reports should be the first thing to do (Which with msian police i doubt it works anyway).

All victims should make reports (For the sake of a useless paper), and all go in one group to MCA for press. The law in malaysia, Viral = Sleeping white knights take action.
Someone from the 12 victims should man up, take the LEADERSHIP and round all together instead of wait and see tidak apa typical malaysian attitude.

But if you ask me personally, if aroma had been scamming since 2010 and runs free till date, physical intimidation is the best and fastest way. conlanfirm with all the police reports made in this 5 years, can be as thick as a bible and police are not fuking interested to get back ur ipongs samsungs. If the system cant work, beat it

This is scam case, police take layan tak apa.. Lodge report then gather to MCA Michael Chong office make it viral..after viral our Police Diraja will do work... For your info our PDRM very efficient.. Depend on who lodge the report la..

The bogus lawyer asked the man, a friend of the masseuse, for RM22,000 as a fee to negotiate with the authority on her behalf. The man paid but the masseuse was deported back to China. Realising he had been cheated by the suspect, he lodged a police report.

In the second cheating case, a Chinese woman, believed married to a local and working in the city, paid the suspect RM14,900 to process the visa for her daughter in China to come to live and study in Miri. But after paying the bogus lawyer, her daughter was still unable to come to Miri so she lodged a police report.

Acting on the information, police arrested the suspect in his house at Hilltop Garden here on Tuesday night. He is being detained in the police lock-up for investigation of offences under Section 420 of the Penal Code. Last year, he was arrested for the same offence namely posing as a lawyer to settle a case where a government officer was arrested for drug abuse. Con man poses as lawyer to cheat victims
MIRI: Miri police on Tuesday arrested a 25-year-old bogus lawyer who cheated two persons – a man and a housewife – in the city.

The suspect was arrested in his house at Hilltop Garden around 8pm on Tuesday following reports made by the victims.

In the first cheating case, the suspect allegedly cheated a man of RM22,000 as payment to negotiate with the authority not to deport a female masseuse back to China.

The masseuse was arrested by police in an anti-vice operation in the city recently, and was detained in an Immigration Detention Centre pending the deportation order.

The bogus lawyer asked the man, a friend of the masseuse, for RM22,000 as a fee to negotiate with the authority on her behalf. The man paid but the masseuse was deported back to China. Realising he had been cheated by the suspect, he lodged a police report.

In the second cheating case, a Chinese woman, believed married to a local and working in the city, paid the suspect RM14,900 to process the visa for her daughter in China to come to live and study in Miri. But after paying the bogus lawyer, her daughter was still unable to come to Miri so she lodged a police report.

Acting on the information, police arrested the suspect in his house at Hilltop Garden here on Tuesday night. He is being detained in the police lock-up for investigation of offences under Section 420 of the Penal Code. Last year, he was arrested for the same offence namely posing as a lawyer to settle a case where a government officer was arrested for drug abuse. The suspect offered to settle the case out of court for RM1,000 from the officer who paid him at a park lot of a shopping complex in the city around 8pm on Sept 27 last year.

He asked for another RM2,000 from the officer in front of Miri Post Office at Jalan Merpati here around 2pm on Sept 30.

Either the "victim" is utterly stupid to defend the scammer so that he or she can claim back or is accomplice/scammer himself.

If innocent middleman, why so scared of police report or keep delete old postings? He should report and post it here. What, do you think if I let this scammer "catch" the supplier scammer, doesn't mean this aroma isn't a scammer too? Both are scammers!

Always sarahan supplier. Bottom story. He wants to make quick buck being middle men. Who doesn't know. An honest trader won't do this kinda scheme. Then he go boasting how he make RM20k in a few minutes lah, grey area lah, other people naive lah. Tiu. Wanna avoid all typical risk of doing business, tied down cash flow, over stock etc by taking people's money first.

I used my own hard cash to stock up with real goods imported from China, bear all the risks and sell to people when i was active selling stuff in garage sales with real stocks on hand.

Sure i don't make RM20k in one transaction, but my conscience is clear and my karma is cool.

i have never asked 12 victims to close any thread do not ever twist my words ask them if u do not believe me

some. artist need to pay certain fee for media and newspapers in order for them to get famous

if i could b3 one of star in lyn, why not.? for the sake of free advertisement fee.. basically FOC

G5 or LZD or 11st will never refund to anyone other than buyers account. I also multiple account plus multiple usage HLB and AmBank code also no problem.

The thing I don't get is why we see people question authentic sites like G5, LZD and 11st but could so easily trust a non trading site like lyn where a successful transaction is just a simple nice dealing with you from any account.

I get it that victims cooperates with any demands made by aromashit in order to get their refunds. Heck, the way I see it's like ransom demand anyway.

And if we are to believe that aromashit got conned by some lowball unscrupulous supplier then we must also believe that aromashit is not the big shot slick lawyer, property mogul that he/she personifies his/herself in LYN.

Something is not right.

1) Iphone and S7 Edge buyer transfer their money to Ting Jack Woon bank account, which aromachong claim is the middle man.

2) The customer buying her/his service for gemfive sale also were given the same banking details, Ting Jack Woon's bank account DESPITE she/he repeatly said that she/he were using different hsbc credit card.

3) From aromachong statement of the different credit card used, the banking detail given to his/her customer should be different if the fund is transfer straight to the card holder.

4) However, all customers for gemfive sale were given Ting Jack Woon's banking detail for the transaction which one would deduct that Ting Jack Woon is aromachong himself.

You miss one important part, in an earlier related case when aromashit buy things for people under the gemfive scb25 code thingy, the transfer was also to the same bank account, so saying that for the phone deal, the money was transfer to a 3rd party seems fishy! brows.gif

The fact that even gemfive purchase is bank in to ting jack woon means there is no 3rd party involve. Only ting jack woon and the one related to him (most likely his son ting seng hui aka aromachong)

  ii.  pledge copy of driving license / utilities bill
  iii.  pledge copy of picture of passport size of seller,  etc...

  All in all,  this will certainly construct lowyat garage sales section a better place for buyers and sellers to trade.  Enforcers will also be able to identify swiftly if any fraud transpire rather than using google search which are not fact-based.  This will definitely curtail fraud transpire and will minimize potential scammers.

  From all 13 victims petition which include me,  myself.

Back in 2010, aromachong aka persistence85 aka Ting Seng Hui (age 24) punched his wife (age 25), citing reason she was not obedient to him. The wife and their 8 months old daughter left him and lodged police report against him. Ting Seng Hui then self learned divorce law in order to win the child custody.
Equipped with some basic law knowledge and legal jargons, he misused the newly acquired skill to intimidate and scam people.

I think Ting was the person behind Jessica's nick.
