QUOTE(jaredx @ Feb 9 2007, 07:41 PM) im kinda noob at modifying car... but i just want get some special car like celica... must modify the car if we buy sport car? can sport car be driven without modified?? NO.. you have to modify it before you drive. Its basic concept actually. Get some neons, NOS kits, bling-bling rims, and dont forget the vynils too! Each vynils adds about 1-2 housepower as low as 1500rpm!! Now thats a sports car.. buying a sportscar doesnt mean you need/have to modify the car. If you have the money and good knowledge in modifying cars, then its up to you. |

Hmmm...I think the latest Celica is not underpowered. 190bhp is good enough whut? Celica with auto box of coz la abit sluggish. So get the manual one!

Toyota is still producing Celicas? I thought they scrapped it like the Supras. How much does a new Celica cost nowadays anyway?

As for me, unless i looking for a weekend ride with priority to power and performance, i definery will choose the DC5.But unless if i looking for my daily ride which can become my weekend ride, the celica is much a better choice for me. The celica has been discontinued in 2005. However there were plans to reintroducing the new celica which uses the hybrid this time with 4WD. |

QUOTE(CFS @ Feb 9 2007, 05:20 PM) Siao meh, already got one jazz do that and got engine mounting with firewall problem. QUOTE(jeremy0 @ Feb 9 2007, 05:36 PM) Supercharger? Even HKS got turbokit for jazz. Problem is Jazz's CVT cant sustain higher boost. My friend's turbo Jazz already on 2nd set of CVT gearbox. DC5 more expensive than Celica lar. And only a little faster. If to top up so much to get the DC5 from Celica, might as well i go get those Scooby STi Ver8 or Silvia S15 Spec R. QUOTE(Cahill @ Feb 12 2007, 01:33 PM) Dc5 will be lots faster than celica if u race those two in track. Well, if i can merely only afford a DC5 or Celica, i wont bring them to track. Unless, they are just one of my many toys. Even for a track car, i'll pick the DC2 anytime. I mean, we can have better options with the price of a DC5, why not? Unless you are a diehard Honda fan. i tested sti and S15 b4, sti would be better for normal driving, spec R launching will be quite hard, and worst the full lock lsd is damn noisy, sound like the rear suspension at "kong" already. QUOTE(jeremy0 @ Feb 12 2007, 01:37 PM) 0.4-0.5 only. 140-150 ponnies on wheel. Good enough to give some of the lightly modded B16 series a hard time. |
