Maybank card centre shall have your latest income records so they can approve a credit card to you. RM70k is just a normal transaction but not telling your income level. So be careful.

Don't use M2U Online Application. The machine is not reliable and may reject you.

The easiest way is... you visit Maybank Card Centre (The Gardens, 1U), show your I/C and existing Ikhwan Mastercard, the officer shall assist you to get additional credit card using the existing credit limit.

Or you email the application form (download from m2u) to Maybank Card Sales, with supporting documents.

Ikhwan CC is issued by Maybank Islamic, syariah compliant, so You won't be charged interest but a fee.

M2 or other conventional CC is by Maybank, you will need to pay interest if you don't settle statement balance.

Separate credit lines, as operated by separate banks (Maybank and Maybank Islamic).

Try Guardian, make sure the cashier use Hong Leong Bank card machine, it is very likely under Groceries.

Where, when, how?

Not many Petronas stations allow you to use a credit card to top up Petronas Giftcard.
So far I only know the one at Bukit Jalil Expressway, Puchong->Kinrara.

And it is not FOC, a service charge will apply. So it will be better getting a new PGC at Shopee during shocking sale, selling at RM95, pay RM71.25 + 2375 shopee coins (+ earn 71 coins for next order). Or Buy Petronas eVoucher RM30 at Prestomall, using RM20 Grabpay credit (once every 30 days) or RM30 Boost credit (30% cashback or RM9 during Online Boost Day).

You can apply but you won't get additional credit limit from Maybank. It is very likely your new application for Maybank conventional CC will be rejected.
Legally Maybank and Maybank Islamic are 2 different banks.

They are from same banking group. Normally they won't give 2x full CB via conventional + Islamic to reduce risk.

Don't assume all the credit card issuers must accept your applications. If you apply a few credit cards or credit facilities at the same time, your credit score is dropping significantly. The credit card issuers will perceive you need cash urgently and tend to reject your applications.

Online is not an issue for Maybank / Maybank Islamic CC.
Cashback only if you meet ALL the criterias
(1) Ikhwan MasterCard,
(2) transaction date on Friday or Saturday only,
(3) Groceries or Petrol MCC.

Merchant's MCC is beyond your control, you need to find out yourself, normally from experience/testing.

Transaction date must be Friday and Saturday.
Posting date not important.
