Petronas Giftcard is for those without credit/debit card to pump petrol. They can just top up a lump sum at counter then use it at the pumps.
The card is sold at RM95 at Lazada (RM100 value) or RM48 at Shopee (RM50 value).
Get a CIMB-Lazada Prepaid card to buy 2 Petronas GCs at Lazada every month for next 6 months (Jan-Jun), you will end up paying only RM190-RM25 every month, ie RM165 (or less with discount codes) for RM200 of Petrol. So much better than using Ikhwan Petronas Visa!
Petronas Dagangan may introduce online topup in 2018, according to Mymesra CS at Lazada.

The 5X/8X Treapoints scheme had been replaced by Petronas 8%/1% rebate since Nov 2016.
You will get only 1X TP now at hypermarkets.

Cashiers let you pay bills using credit card?

Every Fri & Sat, go to petrol stations, pretending to be the pump attendant, help people to buy petrol. They give you cash and you swipe your card, you may offer them 1% cashback as incentive.

Go to bank to apply for a credit card machine with Groceries MCC.

Be careful. Once you get caught, the banks will terminate your cards. The rewards/rebate shall be recalled if you are involved in business activities.

Funny idea for the funny guy. It will work if he is thick-skinned and can kao tim the Ah Moi at the petrol stations.

P/S I notice some cashiers / pump attendants use their own bonuslink / mesra card to swipe if the customer do not have the reward cards, especially those paying cash.

Except this Ikwan , i have no idea how to max out ,
may be buy cash voucher on FRI/SAT , but not easy to resell those voucher

most of my spending are not my own === help friends/customer pay bils , such as TNB . (TNB bill can easily 4DIGIT)
i used that method on all my cards , except IKWAN ....
that;s why i'm asking here .

Sometime (not always) you may get cashback at Alipay Hangzhou (Groceries MCC).

Don't get addicted. Otherwise you will feel hurt soon. Credit card commission will be reduced from 1.1% (since 2015) to 0.48% by 2021, all the card issuers will be slashing their rewards/rebates.

You get cash rebate, so no TP is given. (for Ikhwan cards)
You need to pay the STATEMENT Balance IN FULL (not Minimum or 5%!) by the DUE DATE to avoid penalty & interest charged. In Malaysia, the card issuer will give you 20-50 days interest-free, so you are not in a hurry to pay once transaction is posted.

You have Visa Ikhwan to make it RM150.

For Petrol, PB-Petron CC.
Or use Quantum Mastercard or Visa Signature to buy Petronas Giftcard at Lazada/Shopee/11street.

You may CONVERT from conventional to islamic without giving documents, i.e. you must give up the existing CC.
