Hmmmm. I applied for amex islamic platinum card. I just noticed in my m2u apps today got Visa Ikhwan pending activation. Are they allowed to do that without asking me? Applied amex but given visa ikhwan instead.

Banks do this nowadays. Best you can do is to cancel the card without activating it.

Will i get charged for sst if i cancel without activating it?

they will reverse it as long as u no use and cancel

Havent got the card yet. No sms/call to collect the card. I just knew becuase I can see the card added to my m2u. Suddenly got card account pending activation
