i was just wondering... anyone did cascade WC setup before ??

2 WC loops...

1st loop cools all the component and the heat exchanger is a water block connected to the cold side of a pelt...

2nd loop cools the hot side of the pelt and uses a normal 3x120mm or 3x140mm radiator as heat exchanger...

someone already did cascade phase change cooling....
so i was just wondering anyone tried WC cascade setups biggrin.gif
if yes, mind sharing tips and pics XD

Latest setup, no longer able to handle crazy 4.2ghz @ 1.475v for LinX, lose to MCR-320QP around 8-10c. with radiator fan acting as intake. But still running 4ghz at 1.35v easily. Better than MCR-220QP (acting as exhaust on my older built). Thumbs up for this Syscooling radiator, and its thicker and more FPI than the Swiftech.

guys, whoever wanna buy cheap WC like CoolIT Domino ALC should look on this benchmark test via maximum pc review... cheap WC kit vs high end cooler... it prove that cheap WC is not worth a buy... laugh.gif

check it out here:
http://www.maximumpc.com/article/reviews/coolit_domino_alc

the worse part is on the idle part, where it's on par with the stock cooler... shakehead.gif doh.gif

yeahh... on the the load of course Domino ALC is more better than Zalman (with high speed fan / medium fan used), but i bet other air coolers like Thermalright, Sunbeam or Prolimatech will performs better than Zalman in terms of full loading temperatures, so... the point is that the Domino ALC either performs worse than high end cooler or just on par with them in high loading temperatures, but in idling time, this so-called WC performs worse either it's in high speed or slow speed.... biggrin.gif

it's not just about the looks dude, it's created to cool down the parts you said. I bet the temperature will suddenly drop to at least 10 degrees or maybe more. It's always better than stock HS on the R2E mobo. smile.gif
