Switching from iPhone SE, boy this phone feels damn heavy with its 4000mah battery. Took me hours to figure out the right way to flash the vendor rom to official china rom

what the benefit of flashing to official china rom. how hard to flash to official

There is a lot of ad in vendor rom and u can't update it. In some cases vendor rom will force u to download some apps or automatically download certain apps without u knowing. Not hard if u found the right way. Just few clicks and voila. There's a few method out there and only one working for me

i just bought from gtronics comm. it show 8.0.5.0.0 global. so far I don't found anything to dislike yet, is it ok if I stay with this vendor rom until the official global release bro? btw this is my 1st android phone, coming from lumia and iPhone before. so flashing thing is a bit confusing.
Thanks for info bro thumbup.gif

Bought from gtronic as well. I prefer official China rom because vendor ROM quite untrustable. Who knows that they installed some malware in it. Coming from Lumia and iPhone, I still prefer iPhone. No extra setup needed haha. Flashing is easy. Just follow the instructions in MIUI forum

How to differentiate vendor rom and official rom? Four digits on the official rom, five digits on the vendor rom?

Just thought I'd mention after a few days of testing MIUI 8.1. Overall it is a beauty with new icons and colors to brighten up the system. Fixes and improvements can also be felt in many areas. But one thing I felt that overall snapiness of the system is somehow reduced by a bit. It is not as snappy as the previous MIUI 8.0 in my opinion...

If you don't mind the size, RN3 is a better option. I'm waiting for RN3 to shrink into Redmi size but so far no luck. RN3 size is not pocket friendly & I prefer single handed usage.
Snapdragon 650 is superior than 625, although might lose a little bit on battery life. But still, RN3 can last full day usage with no problem

Hi guys,

I have placed an order with Gtronics Communication @ Lazada for this phone on 19 Dec, expected Delivery 20-22 Dec.

But today has already been 2 days, it is still stuck at "In Processing" status , is this normal from Lazada or Seller? sad.gif

I notice there is no way for us to directly contact the seller too? bangwall.gif

Shud be arrive soon. the processing status is normal because the merchant either lazy or too busy to update. Mine arrived after 2 days and after that they updated all the status.
