Xiaomi officially announced Redmi 4 the successor for Redmi 3 yesterday(4th November). Comes with 3 variants to cater consumer budget and requirement. Leading the pack is Redmi 4 Prime, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC which is an octa-core 2.0GHz Cortex-A53 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. This is worthwhile upgrade compared to its predecessor Redmi 3S which have Snapdragon 430. Redmi 4 Prime using 5" screen at 1080p for display, while for the storage counterpart comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Running Android 6.0 which skinned by MIUI 8.0 make sure it stay on latest tech even for low-end segment smartphone. The battery is 4100mAh, but there is no words yet whether Redmi 4 Prime will support fast charging or not. Other features include dual-sim slots which one of the slot can use as microSD slot, 13MP back and 5MP front camera. and Bluetooth 4.1 support.

The others two variants are Redmi 4A and Redmi 4. Pricing in China are as follow,
Redmi 4A -$74 USD
Redmi 4 - $104 USD
Redmi 4 Prime -$133 USD

Yeah, I searched everywhere on their official webpage, but did not find anywhere mentioned any fast charging technology(QC 3.0 in this case).

The only mentioned 5V/2A charge output on the specification page. See here, Attached Image

azhar75 That is extremely good battery life. Dont need to buy powerbank anymore if ones use this phone
