Considering ProArt PA278QV.

I tested my old Dell E6440 (Intel HD4600) on my 4K TV.

4K 3840x2160 @ 30Hz
2K 2560x1440 @ 60Hz

Does this mean ProArt PA278QV being a QHD monitor will work @ 60Hz...just like my TV?

It's for office work...so 60Hz would be fine.

Appreciate reply. Thanks.

Should be no problem for the monitor to run at that resolution and refresh rate over hdmi 1.4.

Thanks.

The problem is no one know if the E6440 actually had a 1.4 HDMI...not even Dell itself. Google didn't give me a conclusive answer.

That's why I tested on my 4K TV just to be sure the resolution & the refresh rate is showing up.

Good to know TV & PC monitor are about the same. Thanks again for the assurance.

Hdmi 1.4 can support more than 60hz at that resolution. Since your laptop can output on the tv with no prob, maybe the hdmi is version 1.4
