Hi chechung88,

May I ask is the NVIDIA driver is the latest? And is the device manager on your PC able to detect the monitor model?

When the problem happen, is the NVIDIA control panel show the monitor is Gsync Compatible?

Thank you

Hi chechung88,

You can try disable the Gsync compatible function and see whether the problem still persist or not.

Or you have second PC where you can try test the Gsync compatible function.

Thank you

hi there, is asus monitor PQ27AQ(4K) and PQ27VQ (2k) still encounter any backlit screen issue / monitor issue?

both of the above are IPS panel built and since from 2016 there are still review on the screen issue.. just wondering have asus have any update on the screen matter?

can my GTX 1050 TI, run smoothly on 2k and 4k screen? and gaming?

Hi edisoner90,

Do you mean PG27AQ and PG27VQ? if yes, PG27AQ are still using the same panel, there is no guarantee that the IPS panel won't bleed, it just much it bleed.

As for the PG27VQ, it is using TN panel, so don't think it will have bleed issue.

As for your graphic card, it is all depend what setting you put on the game.

You may refer to GPU benchmark to roughly know how far your graphic card can go.

thanks for the info mean for PG27AQ the IPS panel bleeding issue yet to be fix... with such 4k thingy and expensive price asus dint even find a solution for that?

Or is it IPS panel technology still not able to resolve the bleed yet.

problem with TN panel is not look as good as IPS.. i wonder if AHVA panel solve the IPS bleeding problem?

how about PG279Q which uses AHVA panel? is there bleeding problem?

Hi edisoner90,

This is because of the IPS panel it self. Monitor which is using the same panel may or may not have the bleeding problem. This include other brand.

There are only few display panel manufacturer, brands that is using the same panel may have this bleeding problem also.

I believe when you Google, you may find a lot of this information.

As for the PG279Q, this monitor panel are using IPS panel also.

Thank you

Hi davidwee1987,

We don't have repair center for repairing monitor at Malaysia.

You may try to search for any repair service available in Malaysia for the repair.

Thank you

I just bought an Asus VG259QM yesterday. Using hdmi. Why the screen flashes to black every few to 10 seconds when on 240hz? Anyone know how to setting it properly for 240hz?

Then I revert it back to 144hz using nvidia control panel. Then this problem gone..

So how to setting it to play at 240hz ?

Hi Ulysses,

DP will provide better performance compare to HDMI and you can set any refresh rate you want.

Make sure the Nvidia driver is the latest also.

Thank you
