Currently I am using Ryzen 2600X, Asus B450F, AOC C24G1 monitor and 16GB (8x8) C14 RAM. With this setup how bad is the bottleneck if I decide to get an RX6600XT? I only play 1080p

Coming from a 2700X, I'd experienced CPU bottleneck in games like Warzone. Older Ubisoft titles such as Division 2 and Wildlands are fine.

You can determine the bottleneck yourself by monitoring the CPU/GPU usage, and decide whether or not you actually need that upgrade with the games you're actually playing. 5600 non-X will be a very affordable upgrade.

Well, most of the game that I played are those old ones (COH, unreal tournament, left for dead) and the latest game that I have is PUBG. So basically I am looking to upgrade my graphics card first then when the funds are available I will upgrade my CPU. I am thinking if I get the RX6600XT I should not have any problems playing with old games. I hope I am right on this one.

Where got so fast lar. In our region only SG is Numba Wan, others like us belakang kira. Wait until USA & EU got nuff stocks then you will start to see here in ASEAN, and even then it will be overpriced to rake in early waterfishes.

7800XT reviews have popped up and overall it has the same nearly exact performance of its predecessor 6800XT. What a freaking disappointment from Team Red! Might as well get the older card as its higher core count would benefit GPGPU, render & AI apps.

Looks like AMD followed Nvidia with stagnant progression inline with their equally barely improved performance 4060Ti. The only thing going for the newest RX is its cheaper pricing which still dont make sense as 6800XT further discounts will likely price it on par but with a better GPU core.

How to explain this nonprogression or else it would appear that AMD have downgraded their x800 GPU stack to compete in Nvidias x070 segment. And that is big trouble for AMD as surely their slipping the competition going 1 segment down not just in RT but in traditional raster too.

Sad day for gamers.

However, there is some new issue arise..
This month it happen like 2 or 3 times..
When i start a game, or playing halfway, my screen turn black then monitor show no signal received. (same condition if you plug off your display port) I guess the monitor did not get the output from GPU.
The GPU is not running i guess, no fan spin.. But system whole pc is running.. I have no choice to force shutdown using the PC Case power button.
I pretty sure it haven even warm up or stress the GPU as it happen usually within first 10min..

I try google, and it seems number of ppl have black screen issue, but mine is not black screen, its no signal , not sure if their black screen means no signal as well..
I asked the GPU shop that i buy from, they asked me to try stressing with furmark for few hour.. Or if still happpen can send for RMA.

But i not sure if later how is the RMA process as my current no signal condition trigger is in a random time and i could not figure what trigger it..
I tried run like over 3hr FM with 3400 1440 . . highest temp 97 lowest 94 and average 96..

looking at your post it seems like gpu is faulty maybe vram is defective better just return it. I had experience of faulty gpu causing BSOD

How is Sapphire Pulse RX 7900 XT OC? Its the cheapest of all rx 7900 xt. I dont know why the choice is limited and it is damn expensive compared to US price? Are we still having chip shortage?

Thanks for the info. Putting aside the price controlled, is Sapphire Pulse rx7900xt a good card? Any owner here can give feedback. I've checked reddit but general concensus is issue can happen in any brand/model. The ones that really proven record like nitro+ is too expensive
