Don't get the Asus TUF 5700 XT, looks like cooling is poorly designed.

It's ASUS, what do you expect? laugh.gif

ASUS has never designed a proper AMD card for a long time - not to mention that ASUS cards are overpriced as well too icon_idea.gif

Might as just well get the Gigabyte card (Gigabyte usually don't do decent AMD cards but their 5700/5700XT Gaming OC is a notable exception) icon_idea.gif

Strix is one of the best AIB's 5700XT though. Last i checked the price is around 2.2k instead of 2.5k on release day.

Yep, definitely recommend the Gigabyte at RM1.9k or Asus Strix at RM2.2k if someone is running an all Asus setup...

Guys, just recently joined Ryzen 5 3600 family, just curious anyone facing Aorus B450 itx RGB issue? cause my RGB Fusion (software) is buggy, so I have to use a module for my Hyper 212 BE just to turn on my CPU fan RGB.

re-visit RX5700XT+modded kraken g12. Using an old AIO(antec kuhler h2o 620) i had lying around, the temperature is still crazy in a compact case. In my case, i'm running it in H210i with 3700x cooled by 240mm rad at front intake.

1. Your picture is really small, kinda hard to see the temperatures
2. 90°C on load even with AIO cooler?

yep not that great, 90c for edge temp with AIO. Prior to this with stock cooler edge temp often reach 110c with default fan curve. If i ramp it up to 60% fan speed it hovers around 100c.

only problem is with kraken g12 is, it doesnt have active cooling on VRAM. On a hot day VRAM sometimes reach 100c, shy 5c from upper spec limit.(I had low profile copper heatsink on the VRAM)

5700 XT temperatures are really that bad? sweat.gif

My 2080 Ti even with the stock tri-fan heatsink on stock speed 1.85GHz temperatures never goes higher than 85°C on full load
Now with full watercooling, I'm only getting 50°C on full load overclocked to 2.10GHz

In this case i blame it on the reference blower design for the bad temp. Even the AIO im using is quite crappy for today standard.

I have another rx5700xt on another system, but it's Asus ROG strix. Temperature on that one is around 70c edge temp/90c junction temp@2.1ghz, far much better than the modded one with AIO.

Ever thought of moving to full watercooling?
Your H210i casing can fit a 240MM radiator at the front & a 120MM radiator at the rear

You will definitely get better temperatures with full watercooling system even in that small casing
