He really though Ray Tracing very good, very cheap, affordable, already can run well that worth to buy? And also think that all gamers are FPS and Action RPG?

Nowadays developer waste too much resource for gaming display rather than focus on gameplay.
No much new gameplay / new concept come in except keep doing more effect only.

Doesn't matter what that jacket man said, unless 5700 series is significantly undercut Nvidia's price/performance, many people will continue buying them with or without RTX.

On the other hand, you can get 2070 Super for like RM2.3k-RM2.5k nowadays. Similar price to Asus stupid 5700 and 5700 XT respectively so 2070S is definitely the better buy here imo. If other board in partner want some of that market share they need to price it around RM2k or lower for lower end model.

Lets not compare local cutthroat price... tongue.gif

referring to price on newegg
2070 super is priced around RM2.2k
whereas
5700 xt is around RM1.7k

that's RM500 differences there for a similar performance card hmm.gif

More like lets not compare Asus price. RM2.2k for 5700, only hardcore fanboy that fap to Asus logo will buy that.

Also why compare with price that you cannot get it?

I don't know if 2.3k-2.5k is permanent price for 2070 Super or it just a limited time sale, if permanent then 5700 series will have hard time competing in Msian market unless the price is similar to reference counter part or just slightly higher.

Actually there are variety choices of budget 2070 Super at slightly more than RM2300 such MSI Ventus, Zotac twin fan, Inno3d Twin, Galax EX etc. But still no pricing disclosed for non ref 5700XT.

Yes, at 2.3k only have lower end cooler and better cooler at around 2.5k.

We already know the price for 5700 XT Strix and 5700 Strix which is 2.5k and 2.2k respectively. It come with 3+1 warranty.

I did bought a Sapphire RX5700XT Pulse for RM2099 from TechView:
https://shopee.com.my/SAPPHIRE-PLUSE-AMD-Ra...4936.2680045040

The weird thing here is that the fact the Sapphire 5700 XT Pulse is even cheaper than the ASUS 5700 Strix while at the same time the Sapphire outperforms the ASUS
in terms of acoustics and thermals without making their card extremely large icon_idea.gif

One thing the ASUS card is good at however, is that the PCB is quite overengineered:

That's just ASUS tax being tacked on laugh.gif

If you want to buy a non ref AMD card always stick to the three AIBs: Sapphire/XFX/PowerColor icon_idea.gif

From 7950 right? That's quite an upgrade.

Asus Malaysia can keep smoking what ever they smoking, i don't even care anymore.

They usually have great PCB and cooler but sometime they forgot small things like thermal pad for RAM. doh.gif

Money can buy anything if the price is right. blush.gif

When you add lighting into a game with out lighting of course it will look better.
The one with high res texture looks better though not as good as a modded minecraft with ray tracing shader which you can get right now and don't need an RTX cards.

Almost 2x increase in performance i guess? You can try find a cheap i7 then you're really good though 4th gen i5 is enough since you're playing older games.
