Have you the card PDS?
Does it suit your spending behavoiur?
Good or bad is subjective depending on your spending pattern?
There's a min spending requirement to achieve in order to unlock the cash back rate for the designated category.

Actually I'm only applying it for the Lazada Voucher haha tongue.gif

I don't really use credit card, so the cashbacks I don't think I can hit it.

But right now only two SC cc are giving the Lazada vouchers:

1. Standard Chartered JustOne Platinum MasterCard
2. Standard Chartered Visa Platinum

The second one is free annual fee for life, but there's no cashback hmm only points.

Since you're not going to use it, just apply for it.

You were asking "Is Standard Chartered JustOne Platinum MasterCard good?"

Not asking if the RP deal is good.
*
Sorry for not being clear enough, but yea just want to ask for feedbacks from anyone using Standard Chartered JustOne Platinum MasterCard here.

this is how ringgitplus works:

(1) they will choose the first 'n number of ppl' who applied
(2) out of (1), they will choose the first 'n number of ppl' who got approved first
(3) out of (2), they will choose the first 100 who activate they cards first
*
Yea so I need to get into (1) in order to even be considered for (2)

Already included in your sign-up offer. You can't ask for additional RM25 credit.
*
Sorry what do you mean ya? RM25 service tax for each card but some card provider can waive on request right ?

Just call CS to get it waived.

Answer is just a call away.
*
Alright thanks

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Jun 9 2020, 02:12 PM)
You just received the card so you are new cardholders right?
You are getting welcome gift so I don't think SC will give +RM25 gift.
The SST RM25 is charged by Government upon card activation.
*
I got my SST waived by HSBC

Sifu sifu, need your help. I have a JOP card, SST charged since the activation date. I already transfer RM25 into the card, but the account detail still says RM25 minimum payment due.

Is it safe to ignore this? A bit paranoid because for my HSBC card, the minimum payment due will be zerorized once you transfer the amount to the card.

Your payment is made after bill stateemnt date aka statement is generated.
Of course it won't appeared under billed section of the current statement.
It'll be appeared under unbilled section of the next statement.
*
Hmm I thought only purchases made after the statement date will be billed under the the next month’s statement. Even payment to the card also got billed and unbilled ke?

So now I just wait for the next statement right? Since I already paid for the RM25 for this cycle.

QUOTE(GrumpyNooby @ Jun 22 2020, 09:53 PM)
Isn't that obvious?
Statement captures every debit and credit transactions of the statement cycle month.
Why on the earth statement only captures for debit transactions (purchases) and omits credit transactions (payment, refund, rebate, void)?
Statement is just an accounting ledger of an entity account.
*
I don’t think you get my point. My question is why SC still shows RM25.00 minimum payment due even though I already made my payment? Won’t it be misleading to the customer how much they have to pay for the cycle?

Refer to my HSBC cc transaction. Statement date on 16 Jun. I paid it off on 17 Jun. Current minimum payment due changed from 75.61 to 0.

For SC, if it’s a one off thing because of the service tax then I would understand.
