Hmmm I got rejected for the application...no idea why. I do carry PTPTN loan though but I still have about 5 credits now after I cancelled 2 of them. Not sure if either 1 is the reason I got rejected.

Make sure your CCRIS is nice.

I cleared all credit card bills on time. The only loans I have are cars and PTPTN hmm.gif

I know. I was referring to your PTPTN, if there is any outstanding payment earlier, that could be the cause.

Guys, one question. My statement date is on 7th of every month, so if some charges charged on the 7, is it gonna be reflected on the next month statement? Or this?
*
It should be this month.

If you talking about rebate, then count on this month
If you talking about transaction, it should be next month statement, usually the posting date for me is after 1-2 days
*
For Maybank, my statement date is every month's 24th and my BT is always charged on 24th of the month and I will need to pay for it though the cycle is supposedly 24th to 23rd. sweat.gif laugh.gif

They can grant AF waiver even if we don't utilize the card?

Planning to get the card just for the points and no intention on spending with the card..
*
If you want to be cruel, get the points and cancel the card. rolleyes.gif
My sister hasn't been spending on her SCB Gold, maybe just once a year or something and yet she hasn't been paying any AF since she applied, I think 2010 or something.

I think if customer service can waive AF on my card every year without me spending much/none, then I might just keep it in case there are promotions with the card. Also I thought if I cancel the card I may have a lower chance of getting any SC cards approved in the future..

Btw, for all credit cards, annual fee is charged at the end of the year (dec) or the 12th month from the date of card approval?
*
Based on your approval date. 12 months from that date.
Anyway, just multi-quote ya. smile.gif

Due to 0% BT from Maybank, I rounded up the figure and BT-ed more than the outstanding amount, at the same time I have some cash back in my SCB Gold.

Long story short, now I have a credit of RM 140 and I would like to spend around RM 800 this month, will it offset my credit and treat my spending as only RM 660 and causes me unable to get cash back of at least RM 25? unsure.gif I will of course spend until RM 833 for RM 25 cash back.

I will appreciate some advice regarding this. notworthy.gif

Shouldn't be an issue. I normally spend 1.5K on the card but with the RM 50 rebate redeemed, outstanding is less than 1.5K and I still receive the RM 50 rebate the following month.

Thanks for the reply. Appreciate it. biggrin.gif

I don't think so with THIS Card, can Call-in Request for AF waiver... hmm.gif

Most of the SCB card we can EZly get Waiver becos these Cards don't got any PPL Entry & Airmiles Conversion  privileges, & just a Basic Cards with a little benefit only, some of us here also can  get waiver even with 0 spending a year... ! And,They have set an Annual Spending Amount on this WorldMiles World MasterCard only but  NOT with Other SCB Cards, I said we like Actually paid $$$ to have the PPL Entry. whistling.gif
Note: The annual Membership fee (RM636) will be waived if you have spent at least RM100,000 per annum on the WorldMiles Card in the past 12 months.
