fill in your w x y z  biggrin.gif

total spending = 2500 = 15% cb tier

petrol w = 400 x 15% = 60
autobill x = 0 x 15% = 0
online y = 0 x 15% = 0 (capped 30)
others z = 2100 x 0.2% = 4.2

total cashback = w + x + y + z = 64.20 ~ capped to 60 earned.

*assuming all transactions are not part of exclusion.

All other categories no capped except online?

Anyway, my strategy is auto billing telco + balance petrol just to fulfill 200 & top up BP to get full 60.

Btw, while pumping petrol to fulfil 200 requirement, Stel promoter says now got RM5 rebate, then subsequent 3 x RM30 petrol, 4th time will get 10% discount. Comparing this with TNG promo & Amex weekend 5%, still not attractive enough. How to attract people like this?

Oh ya, spending only RM400 purely petrol to get full rebate is too good to be true, I forgot the remaining RM2100

Thanks for reminder bro. smile.gif

To achieve 400 petrol per month is mission impossible for me. My monthly pertrol normally < 200/ month

dont be tricked by the setel biggrin.gif

1) setel give RM5 voucher to new users.

2) 10% is only valid for 30 days after you register setel. read the t&c >> https://www.setel.my/campaign . after 30 days, you dont get ANY 10% anymore.

Stel really useless. I don’t understand why they employ a staff to stand at Petronas for whole day. If they give generous CB like Shell campaigns, no need promoter the program will move by itself.

200 petrol + 2300 BP also can earn rm60 CB

My strategy is auto bill telco + petrol to make up 200. Add BP to maximise 60 CB.

Do you still remember why SC JOP tak laku before mid-2018?

TNB should include Direct Debit update feature in their website, like Maxis or AIA. User can update the CC details by their own.

I've read the T&C for JOP & yes, I'm aware of it. I have an insurance policy which was bought N years ago at exactly rm200 per month. That's why I'm thinking to use auto billing for this policy & top up RM2300 to BP. Hence fulfill the condition for RM60 cashback.

My concern is, can Liverpool card get RM50 cashback by MERELY topping up RM1,500 to BP? I can't find any info about such cashback.

Mine is not too late yet. I just received call from the bank telling me the T&C of JOB this morning. I can call her to add Liverpool card...

Be prepared to appeal few times before getting the cards (sometimes it may happen)

simple as this:
spending < 20k, they has right not waive for you.
spending >= 20k, they will waiver for you

Since I want to continue use this card, so have to make sure spending > 20k and get confirmation from them.
I use their online chat service. Fast and efficient, i wouldn't think it is troublesome.
*
I thought min. 20k is only for JOP? LFC also entitle?

My application for JOP & LFC is being process. The bank calls me several times and each time they did mention that the waiver is at the bank's discretion. I remember I read somewhere that spending more than 20k per year is no longer enjoying automatic waiver...

Can someone confirm regarding the auto waiver please?
*
Even if bank don’t waive, I believe these 2 cards still worth to keep.

wow, seriously?

if can't waive then straight away cancel lo, after that apply again

you can save a lot from paying the AF

JOP - RM250
LFC - RM175

stop one month you just lost RM50 + RM60 CB rather than paying RM425...
*
For SCB, stop how long then can reapply again?

You think so easy? You didn't know once you cancel and try to apply back bank will reject?
*
Even for the 1st time application, with my previous good track records with SCB (at one time used to be priority banking customer), it still took almost 2 months to get approved for both cards.

I think cancel & reapply the same cards within short period not so easy.
