It's really worth it to me, even if just for the monthly cashback, as the number of cashback CC is reducing and better to milk it while still can.

Even if they call to investigate, all he has to do is tell the truth, which really isn't a big deal and hasn't broken any rules.

Many people hit 10k a month easily, and the PBB weekly swipes competition resulted in TONS of people swiping 8xRM100 every week in quick succession, without anyone being investigated.

However you choose to use it, if they call, just tell the truth and take it from there.

Ultimately the maximum is RM10k, which isn't a MASSIVE sum of money in the grand scheme of things.

Even in a worse case scenario, having to provide documents / answer questions isn't a big deal to me. If they ever call me, I'd just ask what the problem was and stop doing it if it breaches any of their policies.

The best place to start is trying to get your first CC from the bank in which your salary is paid into. Once you have a credit record and after at least 6 months of work, it should be easier to apply with other banks.

Hey guys, I just got a really strange e-mail from SCB:

"Say hello to your new Premium Manager", including some content about "Premium Banking". I only hold a normal SCB PSA account and had LFC and JOP for years (before all the rebranding). I've never signed up for an Premium Stuff as my banking is really simplistic and my CC usage is always about CB maximisation.

Is this some new programme they're rolling out? I don't see any benefit to me, except for some supposedly dedicated premium banking manager that I will probably never contact.

LOL - This one is not for HNWIs la - AUM and income criteria are all easily achievable. Hence that's why I'm sure its just a marketing ploy.
