My statement 9 May still says "Personal Banking", but my internet banking portal says "Standard Chartered Premium" and even live chat is "Premium Executive". I guess the change just happened these few days.

On the topic of SST rebates... My JOP got charged at end of Feb. I didn't notice but only checked after reading the last few posts. I asked for rebate on livechat just now and they approved it immediately, said that will be credited within 3 working days. For ref, my expenditure is just BP loading (and sometimes petrol), and play spin game up to the CB limit only - definitely not a high spender.

Yes, I didn't need to provide card details though. I was logged into my account already and asked for SST rebate for JOP in the live chat. She said please wait 2 minutes to check. She then said yes eligible and wait up to 3 working days and gave me a reference number.

I also didn't have to pay AF or SST for LFC last year.

Yepp, I was logged in and chatting on the desktop site. I went in to check my account status, then clicked on the chat icon while still logged in. Didn't need to provide any details to the agent who addressed me by name.

Based on my search on past topics, there's one issue I'm not completely clear about. Its whether "GOVERNMENT SPEND" is counted as "RETAIL" for JOP (I know the rules are very clear for LFC, but it seems ambiguous for JOP).

My reading of the TNC is that JOP definitely won't give CB for government, but it is silent on whether government spend counts towards retail spend criteria.

Has anyone tested the theory?

The reason why I'm asking is that for this month I can hit about RM1k on online + petrol spend but have to find other "retail spend" to hit the RM2.5 total. If I can pay my cukai with it, then this would be fantastic. This is because I didn't have time to "redistribute" my spending with the BP CC top up announcement.

If anyone has actually tested it, would be appreciative if you can share your results. Thanks in advance.

Thanks so much for the tip. I will just pay the RM1.5k+ on my cukai so that I can get the full RM60 (online and petrol, which I will surely hit). Then balance of cukai I whack onto OCBC.

I normally use BP + petrol to get my RM60 CB, but this month couldn't max it.

Btw, did all of you guys wait the full 3 working days after registration before playing the game, or have any of you managed to play even though less than 3 days?

I tried to register multiple times, but only yesterday managed to get a reply to my SMS. Before that all my SC2 messages did not receive a reply.

Oh wow. I just got a RM100 win!! Been doing these spin contests for years and never seen RM100. Also got it today without thinking about it as I loaded Boost for my coffee.

Yepp - this is my situation for most days. I try to be disciplined and just spin 5 times a day. If can't strike anything, then nevermind. Am hoping as we reach the end of the month it will be less competitive when people don't have anymore BP quota to play with. I remember the good old days where we had RM10k of spinning!

Yeh I did before 7 too. Got RM5 on my 2nd and 5th tries.

I'm finding it harder too. Now need more than 5x to get RM5. But I don't have any more BP quota to top up so will just wait for next month to play again.

It's ok, I'll stick with 1 card 1 BP account. Happy with my winnings so far. I got 18 x RM5 and 1 x RM100.

For Mustang RM10k x 2 BP accounts, I was not very lucky, and averaged only RM5 after at least 5 spins.

Petrol. I always use 200 per month Setel and 2300 online.

I just did 4 Boost transactions, but only received SMS spin game for 2 of them. Never missed an SMS before. Thankfully one of the two SMS was for RM10.

Has anyone been missing SMS?

Mine more than an hour not yet received.

And I just topped up another 3 times but only received 1.

I better hold off topping up today and try over the weekend...
