they'll be 2 phone interviews, one online assessment, then final interview in person.

usually it takes 2 weeks to get the answer, in my case, it was an 8 month process and finally Im official to be part of SLB team. I will be going to KL next month for my OFS-1 and I hope everything will be alright because this will be my first time going to outside of Brunei LOL poor me, anyways, good luck for everyone

Hello guys, noob here. Glad to see all of you already successful. I have a set of dumb questions here and I hope you guys could help.
1. How do I apply for a job at Schlumberger as an engineer? I tried through their website but they seem to ignore me..
2. I want to enter the O&G industry from the automotive. Is it possible? I have job experience in the automotive from germany but want to switch to O&G in Msia since they pay reasonably well compared to the msian auto industry..

Hi,

Which segment is this? I had an interview with the segment manager for slb sustaining and the technical part was a disaster. I think it depends on the segment and for mine, they really grilled me on electronics (I did electrical and electronics in uni)

salary is confidential mate...

it's shift work.. basically we manage and monitor schlumberger's global network... while the main job scope will be WAN related incidents, however we also handle firewalls, servers and whole bunch over other things as well.

it's a very interesting job to say the least..
saksob : I'll be off on thursday morn shift, good luck if you're going for an interview

Depends on position, last time for FE in Drilling and Measurement, nothing technical simply asking bout motivation. I am referring to the one on one sessions with HR Manager and Segment Manager session. Both only about showing what kind of work we prefer and motivation thats all

Just a quick advice for those who are going for SLB interviews (Especially for FE & FS). When you get to the field exposure stage, dont be overconfident, you'll be surprised how many people failed that stage although it is very easy to be honest.

You can park in OU. There is a direct bridge to First Avenue. Register for OneCard in OU and you can get cheaper parking rate. Bring your staff ID when registering for OneCard and it will be free.

Be prepared on networking terminology, diagrams and routing protocols.

If you have taken CCNA before or your course structure in University were based on CCNA, it shouldn't be a problem.

Best of luck  biggrin.gif
